Dairy faming is barbaric the calves are taken from their mothers within days and artificially fed, their laments are pitiful , the mothers are constantly kept producing calves that are taken from them to have them supply milk continuously. The female calves are kept or sold and the male ones will be sent to slaughter. Farming is the most subsidised industry in this country and yet in the main the conditions that animals are kept in are shameful. Beef cattle are kept in sheds on a concrete cage floor over an underground tank where they spend all their life standing and lying in their own waste. They are only outside in a confined area when the tanks are being emptied. This untreated sewage waste is then spread on open fields, no other industry would get away with doing this . At least in sheep farming the animals get outside.
The funny thing is Jim the farmers always tell you how much they care for their animals and how healthy they are when everyone knows it's not true but close their eyes to it all

It's true, how else do we get all dairy products. Mammals have to give birth to produce milk. Millions of calves get slaughtered for veal. And it's the same for goats and sheep dairy.
