Great way of bringing the various threads together - where the order of the icons on the toolbar could also be a guide as to the order of operations - and fit the approach to design one is most comfortable following, with surfaces or solids (at least until one gains more experience and familiarity with FeedCAD). Thank you!

... Re-watching the key videos to highlight the Work benches > Tools > Order of use, to identify the underlying work flow.

Thanks for your comment, glad you liked the video. Yes freecad has a lot of workflows to remember and when I start a large project I tend to create a few temporary toolbars to guide me and get the thought process going. PS I have received your email but I have alot of mail to get through so I will reply soon 😊

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I've puzzled over toolbar customization for some time, not understanding that created toolbars were 'attached' to the toolbar selected in the right-hand panel.

    Hello
Is it possible somehow to navigate between workbenches without dropdown? Something like ribbon? Would be cool

how to import mcmaster-carr parts into freecad and use them in an asembly ?

Thanks! I've added Create Sketch to the Part too. Can we use Patterns from PartDesign in the Part? I think that's the only feature of PartDesign I still depend on.

I have to say I have never used or even tried to use the part design patterns in part, I normally use the draft workbench because of the link array capabilities. I'm going to have to have a look at that :)

Is there way to add a dropdown icon on the toolbar? I'd like to have variants of the same tool, but not taking up additional space on the toolbar. Like, say, the circle creation tool in Sketcher.

I think this may help, If you shrink the tool bar group by click dragging the divider it turns into a drop down so you can access the rest of the icons.

Question to the FreeCAD users out there? I had a windows system error involving FreeCAD and had to reinstall the OS and updated to the latest version 1.20 to fix the continued closing crash error. Was there a change to the placement function? I can't seem to find yaw, pitch and roll. I just have an arrow down selection box allowing selection of x, y or z, but only one at a time, and a single degree box for the currently chosen axis. Note: Transform works as usual. I'm missing the ability to see all 3 at the same time like before.

Is there a way to create a custom workbench with tools gathered from other workbenches?

There is but it seems to be quite involved when I last looked. I must revisit to set of anything has changed.
