Sad that only 12 were made, and it was slightly underpowered.If only it had gone into service 10 years earlier, it could have a revival for the C130.
The Belfast was almost twice the size.Lockheed C-130 payload = 19,000 kgs. Short Belfast payload = 35,000 kgs.
wonder wat happened to them models ?
One is in the RAFmuseum, the others were scrapped.
