This whole album is great. Peter wrote and released this during a dark period after going through a divorce. The album title World Falling Down kind of sums it up. Very catchy tunes.
IMO, I believe this is Peter Cetera's best solo album to date. Too many great songs on here, this is one of them. The music in this song reminds me how this could've been a 90s Chicago song if Cetera was still in the group with Lee Loughnane on trumpet. This is the same album you could hear Peter Cetera's duet with Chaka Khan.
Actually Angela, TRUE LOVE isn't based on feelings, feelings constantly change. So if you base your relationship with someone on how you happen to FEEL on given day or week or whatever, it's bound to fail. I've been married to my wife for 36 years and believe me there are times when I have not FELT like I was in love with her. But we built our relationship on a commitment to one another that is "Christ-centered" and He has seen us through many difficult times but also many joyful times. Don't ever let your feelings dictate what you do, they will mislead you. "The HEART is DECEITFUL above all else, and DESPERATELY WICKED, who can know it?" That's from Proverbs and that book has so much wisdom I encourage you to embrace the wisdom there!
I don't really like this one! I was reading other peoples comments, and I just wanted to ask this question! What do you recommend and or advice a person who has tried everything under the sun to find true joy and peace in their life? They tried religion, therapy, venting with friends and family, and multiple other attempts to find that happiness, including Christ, The Virgin Mary and countless others! There are so many forsaken souls out there regardless of their devotion to The Bible or whatever other religion they may follow! Why are these individuals not blessed? The agony, fear and uncertainty continues, and no one has a valid explanation! Goodbye!

For them, it’s all external and physical in their perception of Angela. That’s sad and an indicator that there’s been no evolution which isn’t that surprising since our regression as a country has reared its ugly head during the pandemic.
