I can play the rhythms separately with no problem but combining them is tricky af

Treat your hands as a single unit. Count out in eighth notes. Start slow until you can play w/o looking at the notes, then ramp up the tempo. Only work on it for 10 minutes at a time then move onto something else, and you should be able to get it more quickly.
