Georges Seurat, French painter and designer, inventor of the so-called divisionist technique.
Georges Seurat was born on December 2, 1859 in the northeast of Paris, rue de Bondy. At sixteen, he joined a drawing school, where he met another young artist: Edmond Aman-Jean, future symbolist painter. Young boys quickly find school unsuitable for their ambition and thirst for curiosity.
