Are you kidding? Go see the movie "The Warriors" there were street gang fights that involved weapons, including guns, but usually bats, knives and bottles. Puuuulllleeease. Just fun, love, peace and respect my ass!
This song, which I instantly fell in love with upon the first time hearing it has aged extremely gracefully. Still relevant and that " does" matter in this age of disposable music.
Hey FM! I totally agree with you! I just don't get how the Fatback Band didn't get as much attention as they should have had. They were there in the beginning, and at the end.. they weren't someone else's shadow.. they were genuine and unique!! :p
I always thought that this was done by Luther Vandross....the guy singing does sound like him to me....anyway....glad I was finally able to track this song down...I kept trying to find it on all of my Luther albums....lol!!!!!!!
Same here when I first heard this jammy it was INSTANT LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT. This is one of those jams you can't forget. It's a DANCE CLASSICK talks about the chase of trying to get a HONEY!!!❤️🎹🎶🎵🎼❤️✌️
Yes you see now Auntie....You have to know about FATBACK to know about this hidden gem....It's got that unmistakable Electro Funk vibe which takes you on a groove journey to a far away land filled with many happy thoughts!!!!!..Many moons ago I would listen to this track again and again....For me FATBACK always delivered earth shattering, quality assured albums whereby you would walk straight into a record shop and buy without listening to a single track!!!!....WICKEDLY WILD!!!!!....peACE.....FM
Just WOW I've forgotten just what a fine band they were or still are I haven't checked..magnificent proper studio production from a time when things were just fiiiiinnne thank you..😁😎🙏
