Always enjoy the videos, and awesome scenery. When I was a little girl my dad was in the military and we were stationed at Lajes Air Force Base 1963-1967. I still have great memories of living there. Thanks for sharing your life with us. God Bless.
What a lovely video! I always look forward to your posts; thank you for sharing your experiences, Annie. Terceira Island is our favourite vacation spot.❤
No unfortunately we haven’t monetized yet because they are very picky about addresses matching IDs we need to do some paperwork here before we can finish the process because we already moved once since living here
I loved this! It's Beautiful outside! My molecules are bursting wanting to be there!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Hubby(I forget his name). The grass is so beautiful! The views make me feel home sick!! Hey, get some of that cow dung for your tomatoes and lettuce and all your veggies!! Tomatoes and strawberries love it!! There's nothing better than home grown beef! My Uncle had cattle farms all my life up until about 8 yrs ago. Now he partners with a farmer friend to have one cow to maintain for his freezer every year! I was living with them one year after the Navy going to University and helped deliver 2 sets of twin calves!! Filthy nasty but such a natural high!!❤❤ One of the calves the Mom wouldn't let near her, so we bottle feed that one with the moms milk. It survived and was bigger than its brother!!! I guess cause of the love!❤ I'm so glad your doing these videos!! Hey, last year when Y'all moved there, weren't you working on your house? Did you get it finished or videod the progress? Speaking of housing, I'm hooked up with one of the realtors there. Haven't found the right property/ home yet. But I'm into tiny houses too!! I'll live in that barn and build a nice covered 3 sided lean to for the cow supplies!! I have all the solar a person could want! 😂😂😂. I'll pay rent or feed the bulls!! I don't have a D5 visa so it would be 180 days a year!! YEAH, SOUNDS GREAT FOR ME TOO!!! LOL😊 Take care, and have a great week! Remember Instagram! You could do short videos there and we could DM. ✝️🙏❤️🇺🇸⛵️👣🍍🍍🍍😊
Thank you for your kind comments and I love your story As far as the house goes it is too far gone to do any renovating so we will be looking for a nice little fixer-upper. In the future. We’re happy to be renting. We found a nice cute little rental. It’s in one of the videos. We love the spot that we’re in right now, but yes, absolutely in the future. Looking forward to buying our own home, just not yet as we are still in the establishing process out here it’s a bit of a lengthy process and taking longer than we expected but we’re sticking with it and powering through I love the tiny home idea and think it would be cool to start a tiny home village out here I think a lot of people would be into it as far as IG goes I’m not on there too often and mostly use Facebook TH-cam channel it’s a long story but you can find me under Annie Nova or just click the link in the description
@@newlifeazores1326 I did find you on there right after I wrote the comments. Yeah, renting gives you time to figure out where you really want to be and not settle. XX
Hi friend looks like you guys have a lovely day everything so green from the rain. I new from my sister -in-law the weather in Terceira has been quite cold and windy, here in Southern California too, yesterday we had gusty winds very strong it cause some damage in some areas nock trees down across the roads. Best wishes.
Wow knocked trees down now that strong winds for CA There is always some sort of damage from the high winds here I’m actually surprised not more but the build the buildings so strong sometimes a tree gets knocked down we have had it happen in the banana orchard and this week some flag poles got knocked down I think the airplane pilots have the hardest job trying to land in this kind of wind, sometimes flights get canceled but I have seen some footage of the planes coming in during high winds and I would hate to be on that plane 😳
lol he doesn’t drink though he’s not recovering or anything like that he just never got into it he is actually happy to be working on his birthday as long as the animals get taken care of we had cake later on 😊
Happy birthday Sean. Belated now I guess. Beautiful scenery. Sad for Angus and Joey, but I know that's all part of farm life. That's why I couldn't be a farmer 😢. I wish I could come visit, I'm here on pico, so close. The weather here has been rainy, overcast and so windy, but loving it just the same!! Thanks for showing us beautiful Terceira once again! ❤
@@susieq1111 it’s ok he gets it all the time also if you talk text it shows up spelled that way so I even accidentally send it that way to other people 😂
Love your tiny house idea. I do same thing with graph paper! Visited Sau Miguel (from NYC) In January and hope to return soon to check out your island. Thanks for updates👍🏻. God bless❤
That’s awesome I think it would be cool to have a tiny house village out here if you do come out here try to reach out to me maybe we can have a coffee together 😊
Not sure if you guys have mentioned it in other videos and if it isn't to personal of a question but, what did you guys do for work when you guys lived in the States and was the transition tough going to full time farming?
It’s not too personal Shawn worked at the San Diego Safari Park as a manager and I was also worked in management at the Good Feet Store as far as the transition it wasn’t tough because this is what we wanted to do and Shawn has always worked a physically demanding job I also like to be physical even though I worked in an office type setting I actually became unfit due to my lack of activity an office type career it’s not necessarily my calling I prefer to be active it’s is harder for me because I was in a bad accident that had me in a wheelchair and a cast for nine months but we are happier doing this type of work it feels natural to us
@@newlifeazores1326 it’s so impressive and honestly brave to just up-root and chase that dream. Definitely keep it up and keeping the dream alive for a lot of us. Hopefully we’ll run into you guys in August when we go for vacation. If the cafe is open we will definitely stop by and get some stuff to eat. Keep killing it.
