The resort is beautiful, however please be aware that the ocean water is not the tropical blue water you expect to see in the Caribbean. The run off from the mangroves makes the water look more like the Mississippi River. If your a pool person great, this might be the resort for you. If your an ocean/beach person you may want to make another resort selection.
There are certainly other beaches like Playa Mujeres that don't have the seaweed problem. At the same time, they do a great job of cleaning up the beach, and the water was pretty blue while we were there. 🤷🏻♂️

Restaurants were awesome but buffet was lacking. Not much in the way of entertainment in the evening. Our group still had a great time
The food is fantastic. But when we were there in November none of the kids options were open
How would you rank this vs the Secrets Vine, Dreams Vista, and Jade?

any idea what the height requirement is for the big yellow water slides?
Do you know if you book directly through the resort if they will accommodate adjoining rooms? We will definitely need 2 rooms but they have to be adjoining.
Did you say that golf is included at this resort?
They have agreements with local courses to play at heavy discounts.
What is the beach like there is the water clear
It can be but definitely not the same as other parts of Mexico. Often times you dont get that crystal clear water.

With Covid 19 restrictions, how is this resort accommodating for the restrictions? Is all the restaurants open , only being 30% compacity.
All of the spaces are open, but restricted capacity. Buffets require masks when in the buffet lines.

In the summer months how is the seaweed and is the water is blue clear or cloudy?
There are some days where the seaweed is more than others. If that is a high priority we would recommend checking out the Playa Mujeres properties.

Hi Harr Travel, we have a Service Dog, do they allow service animals in Dreams Natura Resort? If not, do you know other Resorts in Cancun, Mexico that allow Service Dogs? Thanks
That is something we can reach out to them about. Secrets and Dreams are small dog friendly, and if you have a registered service animal (not emotional support) they should be able to accommodate.

There are safety protocols in place in areas of the resort, but for us it didn't affect the experience at all. In other words, nothing was closed off, just limited capacity.

Have you personally been there since all the hurricanes? I am having miss reviews about this resort. We are looking at going on vacation in June, older children but with activities..
Someone just posted that the seaweed is horrible, basically no beach. The waterslides are down, the zip/swing thing is down. Then construction going on next door.
is this true? Some people post things just to get views.
I just want an honest opinion. this is a lot of money.
The seaweed can be an issue in this part of Cancun, though like other resorts they do their best with that.. My friends that were just there love the resort and advised that the zip/swing were open and awesome. Reach out when you are ready to book and we can go into more depth for you.
