Daggerwin upload survival challenge 1 day per week. And machinery restore vids r rare. But is normally a few days worth of work. I recommend u joining the official Daggerwin discord to keep up to date with Daggerwin.
I really like this series because you're watching him start out with nothing but a cheap tractor. Then you get to see him slowly make more and more progress and some of the struggles involved in it.
The first of this series showed up on my you tube page and I watched out of curiosity. Promptly watched every other episode. I normally play survival games and have FS19 for a relaxing change of pace. When I saw these I had to try it myself, with a few changes. The only buildings I started with was the farmhouse, "office", and wood chipper. My avatar brought his own chainsaw and an old pickup truck. That's it. I'm not using the super strength of faster growing crops as imo that defeats the purpose of a survival game and just turns it into a money management game. Having fun with it and love the series.
I agree with the fast growing and super strength but I play on console so I can't get a lot of the cheap machinary like the sprayer and the harvester so I found it quit hard at first
Might be worth thinking what your "dream team" set of equipment is for a Hard setting gameplay without contracts. Things you both like AND are among the best-in-class but within budget and, by preference, part of the base game. E.g. the Fendt Favourit for light work, MF Activa with 9m header, 12m Helianthus (if it works on the slope given: sunflower is quick to harvest) and 6-9m corn header, 6/12m planter, plough and direct drill seeder with a solid new tractor able to pull any of that. The sort of kit that if you manage to upgrade to you will likely stick with and then work on another improvement, because the next feasible improvement from that is so much more expensive, it would be a grind to get it soon. It gives a goal to aim for and is far enough ahead, mostly, that you have a only a few logical upgrades to go through to get it. The problem with cultivators is that they need so much power to pull, even low power ones, that you either have a 3m cultivator compared to a 6m direct drill that doesn't need a cultivator, or a 400hp monster truck that is waaay off in the future.
Dag, you can sell the old broken water mill by the track for several hundred pounds. Also, if you're interested, you can buy a new one for $17k pounds, but it brings in several hundred pounds per hour income. Cheers mate, love the series.
cant wait for survival roleplay episode tomorrow :D amazing content! and btw: there is a mod on modhub wich is a deutz fahr medium tractor for 31000 £ with a top speed of 53kph
Love this series and the map. Just ordered my new pc and fs19 premium. Played fs13 for years and really wanted a map like this one, vast land, no pre made farm plots. On fs13 when starting i would always plow that golf course , free land lol.
Add more field and cut trees for next episode get to 85k for another field I’d suggest for next episode or couple episodes to get another more grassy plot to really boost the farm before you buy a tractor and obviously cultivate and replant fields you just harvested
The trees to the back and to the right of the house and the machine shed you should clear out so you can watch the sheep and the back fields easier and will get more room for a field and might find something in them woods that can be fixed up if your willing
The MB Trac 800 would fit this landscape well. Nicely detailed, and sounds really good. 35k for 90HP, 45K for 115HP. (upgradable to 135). Great little 4WD workhorse.
There is a great range of small fords available for the farm. There is also the Fiat 540 which has 4wd as an option. Maybe you could even stretch to a ford tw10 which should see you through for a while.
After you get the bga another great investment would be a slurry yard by Missy B. It accepts digestate and pays extremely well. Usually triple what it pays out for manure and slurry
If you do the bga route make sure you place the slurry yard as you can sell the digestate for £1600/1800 per 1000litres, I think you get around 45% digestate per 1000litres of silage from the bga, the map has a missy-b slurry yard for £5000
I know you're not worried about the missing pieces of grass, but there is a strip of grass along the path going to the field you harvested today. Probably not a whole lot, but a decent line.
A suggestion for thee next video, you said........ Well, at least I would be very happy if you could take care of the old wind mill. Poor ting just laying there
Do you ever list anywhere "all the mods" and "all the settings" you use for the series? You just mentioned the real mower mod at approx 2:38 however I don't see that in the description. Also, I think you have a developer mod that allows you to increase (not in survival series) or decrease wallet (which I saw you do when you had a tractor fly off the map and replaced it. I am trying to re-create the senario's you depict because they look enjoyable, yet I get frustrated because I don't have either the mods or the settings. Thanks for the video and this new series, I am almost caught up now.
I look forward to these on Fridays for 2 reasons, one I'm not trying to pump out any of my own videos on my channel (no recording or editing etc) and this is my special treat for Friday's to watch someone else's videos and catch up on what's happening in your series.
Hey dagger win for the survival role play can you win a jcb like the one peter wood had(the one you drove). A black one and win it at some place like the gator. I think it will be a great edition to the farm. Think about it
well i love this serie and i hope you ill continue it so i ill like and comment all the viedeos, forgive me if i am doing it all at once copy and pasting this comment... but yeah its my kind of way to help this channel ;)
Hey daggerwin, if you can string 2 of those trailers together, it would be a cheap way to double your capacity to cut down on travel time to the sell point
Hey my dude, I'm new to your channel and I managed to watch all of the survival challenge videos up to this one in a bit of a marathon! I came to look for this episode (as TH-cam didn't link to it sadly) and I couldn't find this listed in your playlists. Is it and I was just being blind?
The idea of buying a sell point makes very little sense to me. Its like going to a company to sell seed and them saying buy us first. It never happens in real life, so why is it such a common occurrence in FS? ROI is good in FS, but its just a strange way to go about things. Can't wait until you get a new combine, that one really makes a noise in 3rd person for some strange reason. Great video. Looking forward to Survival Roleplay tomorrow.
The combine isnt really loud here, its fine. What machine is loud is the fiatagri 180/90, which is super loud. But its an amazing mod (modhub) , you should really look at it, its got 180HP and cost just 33K, so perfect for the survival.
If you can afford one of the included greenhouses with the map and top it up with manure and water it will earn you 500 euro/hour and it only costs 17000 euros. There's also a manure pallet mod on modhub for when you don't have cows.
In a lot of places small farmers don't own combines, they just lease them when its is harvesting season. may be an idea for one of your realistic series. often not worth owning a combine if it will only be used for a short amount of time a year.
Can we have more episodes of this series please its one of the best you do keep up the great work .......any updates on next machine restorer video

@@TaikaJamppa I have tried it, and documented every step of the way numerous times in my series
With super human strength though :)
@@Fallenangel_85 I never really cared for that part of it. I personally havent used the super human strength mod.
@@GulfCoastTim It makes a huge difference and I would have liked to see that Ferguson working with the frontloader.
@@Fallenangel_85 Yep I always use cranes, front loaders and fork lifts.
this and the survival roleplay have to be my favorite❤
I honestly like watching these more than pretending to do my own while playing.
TaikaJamppa I agree it’s not too story based but it is just right for fs19 man
What he did with Ive no longer interests me.
There’s a John Deere combine on mod hub
It costs £9100 for the combine and £2200 for the header
cheap
Sam Shardlow only problem with that thing is when you look into where the grain is meant to be if it's clear you can see straight through the combine
What size header tho?
I think it is about 4m
Burger Muncher yeah i know
Found this channel and series by accident, and just love it cuz it's so calming . Keep up the good work 👍👏
Inna heheh
You found it accidentally
Bro same

I wouldn’t have started this series if I knew it was still young. It’s like crack. Love it!
So I binge watched this series and am anxious for the next episode. 2 a week would be top notch.

I really enjoy this series. On No Man's Land, I bought a Small log sale point. You get more income from logs then chipping the logs.
this is the most interesting series than others .. please try to make more in the videos.. really wast to see the progress in this series
He is doing his best

Watched this entire series durring two days, can't wait for the next video! Great job!
It’s a great series, extend the fields and another big harvest and you should be looking at a decent tractor upgrade
I really did enjoy it! ty for making this series, its really chill :D alright ill head off to next episode, see you there
You have the best time-lapse music out there🤟
By far my favorite series. Love your vids👍
This serie is amazing i watch every episode and waiting for too
Really enjoying this series the progression is very good
Really like the choice of music on the time-lapse. Good job!
Add more field and cut trees for next episode get to 85k for another field I’d suggest for next episode or couple episodes to get another more grassy plot to really boost the farm before you buy a tractor and obviously cultivate and replant fields you just harvested
That mouse tho 😂😂😂
When you restart the video over and over again, 😆
The trees to the back and to the right of the house and the machine shed you should clear out so you can watch the sheep and the back fields easier and will get more room for a field and might find something in them woods that can be fixed up if your willing
Planting sone sunflowers in the area you cleared would look nice and might earn you a bit of money.
Love this do it more than once a week
Daggerwin you are very good making these videos i am so happy for you and you are the best ever

Yeah but probably way to deer
I put the open sheep area beside the lake next to the bale shed, fits nice and use the other part of the field for hay
great vid , the bio gas takes potatoes and there a lot of old fashioned potatoes mods out there
the beginning!! 🤣
There is a great range of small fords available for the farm. There is also the Fiat 540 which has 4wd as an option. Maybe you could even stretch to a ford tw10 which should see you through for a while.
Great video my friend keep them coming, would like to see more
after season 1 role play - its best game play u did this season , thank you i learned from your games so much about mods.

I like the older fiat agri / new holland tractors. There is a bigger medium tractor in the workshop. So i would use it. I think it is good.
my favorite farming sim youtuber

Hi daggerwin i really like ur vids and keep it up
Love the content especially survival challenge and survival role-play.
Daggerwin. I have noticed on a few video's that you DON'T have the rear diff engaged on the fiat. It needs to be GREEN to be activated. Love the vid's
I noticed that the fiat tractor was clean again.
Best series I do it to its fun
I love this series !
I think plant soybeans in next ep and i think you should do cows!
This is still my fave series
I love the start of the vid
Farming simulator is the best game over all
I always love the intros

Yeah... On stuff like sell points. I tend to use the easy development controls mod from PC modhub and add the money in or back that for the sell point
If you do go for the bga you could do digestate for fertilizer
Good progress
The combine isnt really loud here, its fine. What machine is loud is the fiatagri 180/90, which is super loud. But its an amazing mod (modhub) , you should really look at it, its got 180HP and cost just 33K, so perfect for the survival.
You could use the new tractor to compact the silage.
those rocks that were by where you where mowing you can use the landscape tool to flatten them out its just arked up and painted ground
Nice video😄👍🏼

if you could do put a loader on the fiat and sell the Ferguson never bad to replace the small less useful tractor for a more all round robust one
In a lot of places small farmers don't own combines, they just lease them when its is harvesting season. may be an idea for one of your realistic series. often not worth owning a combine if it will only be used for a short amount of time a year.
just a suggestion...
You should consider the Deutz Fahr drop nose tractor, it is 4WD and is keenly priced, around 18 thousand.... 107hp
Love the intro
After 6 freaking day. Finally. Survival challenge.
He uploads one every Friday.
Do you have a full mod list? (the tractor info, mowing mod....)
Love the videos keep up the effort :)
For a replacement tractor, there is a Fiat 180 medium tractor that's a very nice mod, affordable for your series as well, about 30k
Pick the highest sell of a crop to able to survive of it daggerwin
I suggest daggerwin
You need to get a high horse power tractor and not a cheep one
