nice concise video on the cases.. it would have been nice if you had checked how each case is Tempered Glass screen protector friendly. Also the Spigen Neo Hybrid does not last long. the plastic bit loses its paint in a few weeks..

I was thinking about getting the Hyperknit or the Alcantara case for my Galaxy S9, but I think that Speck case that you have there would probably be the best. Rocking a Speck clear case until I have enough money for a better one. Shows scratches like no other tho. Also, drop.

First off, thanks for shopping around for me, I'd say number 1, ghost tech, due to back window. 2nd, the Hyperknit.I dislike covers that you cant either see the actual back/model of your phone, unless it has just a killer design, like geometric patterns and some different colors-mostly metallic shades with some flair around the edges... if that makes sense. Galaxies tend to be pretty. I want to see the back.

I'm a really big fan of the spigen case (the blue with the plastic frame) and I have a regular galaxy s9. Funny story, in New Jersey, I was using my s9 in the pool and I dropped it in the water. It slowly went and hit the floor of the pool but it got a crack anyway. I didn't notice it until like a week afterward when a friend pointed it out as I was doing my weekly phone cleaning. The pool experience was the only thing that came to mind which is why i think it got cracked. I have an litterbox case but i just hate it. It's got this green yellow look to it and i just hate the color
Awesome roundup Justin. You produce such good content and have such good taste and sensibility. I always emphasize protection (while still being tasteful, functional, somewhat affordable), so I really appreciate that ghostek.... for the lip and metal-frame construction... BUT, on that last point, I have seen at least one review of it cutting signal down a bit... which can be problematic in areas with weaker/marginal signal..... what do you, or anyone else think? I have never owned any Ghostek cases before as I have only known about that brand and these designs as of a month or two ago.

The speck Presidio case is the best for the s9 period, and if you price match it at best buy you save alot more
