Just ordered this after reading lots of Amazon reviews and watching tons of videos on TH-cam. Finally found an Indian, thanks for sharing it. This device seems to have launched in the US and Europe before India so you see a lot of Americans reviewing it. Let's hope it is upto the mark.

1) How to know my model of msxttly ? U2C air or SMT AC01 . On my box it has stickers of both.
2) even if I switvh off my car and lock it, I can see that the adapter has the white light on it, suggesting that the usb port of the car is still powered despite shutting down the engine and locking the car . This would mean that the battery is being drained and the adapter will be working 24*7 reducing life of both ?
Any solutions ?
1) If the device has a carbon fiber like finish on top of it and is small in size, its SMT AC01.
2) That light automatically turns off when the device shuts down after 10-15 secs.
Please share your 1-2 months uses review.

Yes it does. Their older models used to get software updates rolls outs for them.
This one, being the latest product, didn't get any yet.

Carlinkit may preload apps bhi rehte hai shayad. I haven't used it but reviews may slow slow likha hai uske case may.
This one is the quickest of the lot, in terms of establishing wireless connection. Doesn't have any YT Netflix apps though.
