You talk about it! You are great! I know what you are talking about. In the 90s I had no help with my panic, things got worse. I first got help after years of suffering, but fortunately most of my time I am a happy man now. So you're absolutely right. Search for help as soon as possible. Cool Hand Luke, great guy not afraid talking about his fears!🎯💪🙏
As someone who has dealt with panic attacks and anxiety for years and couldn’t leave the house for a year due to it, it is absolutely unreal that someone who has dealt with it on stage carried on getting up there and now is the best in the world 👏
Takes real courage to admit your struggles. What a good guy. We all have struggles, no shame in it. I hope you have great success Luke. Much respect 🙏👍
I can totally understand him despite the fact I've never had that kind of pressure. It's hard to get the best out of you while being under such a big pressure
All credit to Luke I suffer anxiety and play darts and have had bad anxiety during games and for him to about it and go on to be the world number 5 incredibly inspirational Thank You Luke Good Luck mate
Xanax will give you relief and put you back in control of your nerves. See a doctor to get a prescription. You're feeling the fight or flight response. If you want to conquer this without drugs, join a jui-jitsui gym and learn how to fight. When you get healthier and learn how to fight without fear, the panic attacks will go away because fighting no longer has an element of fear in it. Anyone can flee, that's easy. Having confidence in your self defense skills will spill over into other aspects of your life, like darts.
Eric Zeigler 100% agree with you. I go to BJJ classes before my matches and always feel a sense of fearlessness. I’ve always struggled with nerves in darts and besides booze lol this has helped me immensely.
Kind of good to know that even people you see on television go through these type of things. Thanks for opening up Luke
Now he’s the best player in the world and one of the healthiest looking Darts players. Well done, Luke, huge respect.

Mate Xanax isn’t even prescribed in the UK and the withdrawal symptoms from benzos make the original panic symptoms feel like a walk in the park

Stay away from Benzo’s. Xanax (diazepam) and oxazepam etc are all poison. Addiction and withdrawal are way worse than the anxiety
I think psylocibin will be the medication nr1 to battle anxiety in the future.
