The Bruins should play like their female counterparts... play inside out. Bets are killing the competition. Likewise, they should go more to Aday Mara.
It’s the tradition of UCLA-USC for both teams to wear colors. The tradition goes back to both teams sharing the Coliseum for football. Both teams refused to wear road whites in their home stadium. When UCLA moved to the Rose Bowl in 1980s, the tradition ended since they no longer shared the same stadium. This pissed off a lot of college football fans who thought UCLA-USC in their color uniforms was the most beautiful game of the year. Problem is the NCAA had changed the rules by then prohibiting the road team wearing home colors in their road. Pete Carroll and Rick Neuheissal came to an agreement that both teams would take the penalty for wearing home colors on the road. In response, the NCAA changed the rules to allow it. Thus, because of Los Angeles’ association to the colors for football, the basketball teams agreed to adopt the tradition.
There are physically more talented teams than UCLA, yes. But this team is starting to embrace the classic Cronin mentality of being a tough team to beat, and that usually takes them on deep runs
Wasn't easy but they got the win. UCLA could not afford to lose this game.
Go Bruins!!!
Oregon Gonzaga Arizona USC. Only if we had beat UNC would’ve been a perfect season
Beating teams you hate doesn’t make for a perfect season. This UCLA team has lost way too many games it has no business losing.
@@37s0aP ? we did beat UNC. It was a rigged outcome. # rigged era
The "Spanish monster" is begining to awaken!
@@MASC9 Uh Ohh
Go Bruins! 💙💛
UCLA needs to play inside out. Guards aren’t good enough shooters to play perimeter ball
Bilodeau did not play. Imagine him and Aday playing together
@ maybe for short stints but it leaves them exposed defensively. I like Mara with Dailey and Kyle with Bilodeau. Not a fan of Bilodeau at the 5
@@behappy6215 We saw that in Wisconsin game
Yeah but then guards hate giving them da ball, always taking crazy 3 ball, we have a great inside players
Kareem Abdul-Mara!
Yassss!!👍👍👍
They not like us at all
4’s up

Give Mara the ball
@yolanda3144-z8k Mara is being hacked, mauled referees not calling it generally. More physical game than womens.
Well, cronin should stop gatekeeping Mara first.
@behappy6215 gatekeeping ?? I'm sure Cronin would love for Mara to play every minute of the game, but it doesn't work like that in basketball.
As a USC fan, I thought the same. The plays Mara was involved (shooting or passing) led to points almost every time. Mara's minutes should go way up
Gotta love the Pac 10
Been a UCLA FAN WHEN DA GREAT JOHN WOODEN WAS DA COACH
Go Bruins
It's peanut butter Mara time. Peanut butter Mara time!
Why did USC play at home in their away uniforms?
Are you new to L.A. ?
These two teams wear their solid colors when they play each other, football @ basketball

FUSC!!!
I don't see this UCLA team making a deep run this year. Simply better teams out there.
The tourney is wide open. They could lose in the 1st round or make a run to the elite 8. You just never know.
