He literally died and was reborn on the court. When he unlocks that "This could be my last game," type of mentality plus the work ethic he's only going to get better at, I think his ceiling could be an All-Star but he will really have to bust his ass and put the numbers up and keep consistency.
About time I read a comment about this young that somebody knows what their talking about like it's only me n u who's knows he's still recovering from wat happened to him n once he knocks that off ppl in trouble
I give him 2 years max and he will be more than people thought he could be in the NBA. Why? work ethic, desire, and his dedication to the sport despite being the son of billionaire. This kid is as humble as guy who came from nothing to be something. Remember, he could just lay around the house for the rest of his life and do absolutely nothing and still be rich so he definitely not doing this for the money. I say all that to say this he not driven by money only. This is strictly for the love of the sport. People who do something they really love 9 out 10 times are extremely successful because the evil of money is not what drives them to be great at what they love to do. .
I see him as a Jrue Holiday type of player, can defend, pass, shoot, and impact the game not just on scoring. He might need to workout with uncle drew, why not guard the man with the greatest handles😂 he needs to take notes
Absolutely see growth in his confidence handling the ball. He also getting more elevation in jumper which will help against bigger defenders. Hes highly motivated with all the tools to be successful so its only a matter of time for him. Great video
you might be right. any athlete given this opportunity to be exposed should take advantage of it. the thing is, he is not supposed to be drafted. daddy did it for him.
Needs more work on handles working into his shot or driving to the basket for high percentage layup. I hope he was taking note of Garland who did that to him several times. On defense I would love to see his hands more active. He doesn't even pretend like he's going for the steal which can throw the offensive player off. I do like that he sticks close on defense and mostly keeps the opponent in front of him. His jumper is looking purer every time I see him. Like others have said, in a few years he's going to be special.
Everyone needs more work on everything in all we do as humans. Why else you think people like Kyrie with extremely high level of handles still works tirelessly on his handles even though it already comes natural to him. Greatness comes from from your work ethic which is something Bronny is showing he has so to me we just got to wait and see how it all shapes out for him. I am not going to marginalize him based on what he has or has not accomplished yet. Why? He is only 19 years old and has a chance to change the negative narrative around and about himself by proving people totally wrong. It would be a hater mentality for me to say what you can and can't do in the future or for me to even know what drives you or what type of desire you have, what type of work ethic you possess. This is why it wrong for people to say what a person will be or what they will be so just let it play out. All of us are different.
😂😂😂 bro i was thinking the same, not a lick of a basketball accolade in his resume, probably just a perfect 2k jumpshot releaser gamer🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️@Cee-tn9qj
The challenge for Bronny, like many other talented young players entering the league is that he is such a rhythm shooter, that once he gets on the real court instead of being able to establish a rhythm, he has to be a facilitator, and often thinking too much can destroy your focus ending any type of chance to get into a productive flow. Once the game comes to him making it less cerebral, he will stop overthinking and shooting naturally as he has always been able to do in practice, this is often referred to as the game slowing down, when it really becomes one with the game without thinking too much about it, freeing more energy that can be used to focus on shooting setting up the defense.
This is good for Lil Bron. Man, Darius Garland looks just like his pops! I met Winston Garland years ago when he was playing for the Warriors in the late 80s. Nice, solid dude and a decent Point Guard too.
I’ve been following high school, AAU, college and the NBA for over 20yrs. And I’ll keep saying this: the kid can play. He has superb athleticism, plays good on ball defence and his shot release looks good. Once he gets used to the big crowds and starts feeling comfortable, you gonna the full potential on display. I know a lot of people hate on the kid because he’s LeBron’s son. But do you think Bron would go to bat for him like this if he wasn’t good enough to play in the league? He knows what Bronny can do.
That's a lot of improvement in a very short time. If he can continue to ascend at this rate, he'll be pretty great in the coming years. Garland and THT are no joke. I was shocked at how big he is compared to Garland, actually. He's definitely been in the gym AND the weight room.
Did you say “stay in the gym like MJ” and didn’t mention Lebron? If he has some discipline it is because he’s seen his billionaire dad waking up at 4:00a.m. to train, and even working out in the yacht while on vacation.
Not a shutdown but a paid Practice/Camp. Money well spent. LeBron Jr is getting better each day. He should say Father passed me the ball once in a Press Conference
All that matters at this point is does he have the athleticism to compete in the NBA and the answer is yes. Overwhelmingly so. He will need to improve with his confidence. But that will happen. I think he will have a good NBA career. At least a 10 year career and probably longer than that by quite a bit.
There was a guy, who trained his all youth to get in, and his place just got taken away because of father pushed in his browny... there was a place for other man, not this guy.
none of this matters. If you understand basketball, this is just practice and doesn't reveal anything, one on one there are too many players that are good at that, NBA requires good skill but also team coordination.
He's an average player at best and that's fine. Ppl need to stop with these outrageous expectations on him. Support him or not give it time to see where he goes.
If I had the chance to talk to Bronny, I would tell him to stop making his shot so difficult, he should "create" Easy shots instead of "forcing" a make for difficult shots. My example is Kyrie, the way he practices he practices using his skills to create his shot and getting to his favorite spots. Kyrie doesnt force things and thats the difference between all these other 1 v 1 players.
He playing to much like he is his pops height!!he gotta get more shifty in the shoulders and use some quick feet hesitations..He need God Shamgod for a month and walah!!!
What I saw wasn’t great. Not sure it was so much his defense as it was the offender was trying to be a bit overly flashy and forced himself into bad shots. G league this man.

Bronny is good at practice
Doesn’t matter. The thing he’s missing won’t come from any type of drills. He just doesn’t have that DOGG in him!!!!
Not a straight superstar but lets talk in 2 to 3 years down the line
Bronny is going to be elite before it's all said and done. Way more skill than he gets credit for. Watch! Stay in the lab youngin!
I'd say these reps aren't incredibly intense, but he is putting in the work.
Bronny looks good on the workouts
