how did you do the grease ball pizza face thingy?
gotta admit, I LOVE the whole post-grease course II panic thing. considering you have likely played golf 2 before this, the grease course II feels way too short, eerily short even. and then when you leave the course, he awakens
you know what, i was expecting a complete detrimental change of pace after the first few holes, a la Golf 2. This just looks like a genuine sequel to golf, which is nice.

@@letter_o_hyphen_letter_o WAR only took me like half an hour to get through. You really just have to go fast, which is Peppino's specialty. It doesn't have mechanics that deliberately slow you down and make you retread area as you're racing against the clock, thus creating a death spiral if you didn't do it perfectly the first time. Golf is even worse than Wasteland in that capacity.

Pro tip: DON'T Use the obj_pizzasonaspawn in secret rooms, use obj_bigcollect instead.

For a first level it's fine, but honestly the chase section is a bit too hard, you can very easily die and it got to the point where I just decided to skip right to the chase because I was sick of redoing the beginning section over and over just to die in the second room of the chase.
During the making, I ran out of easy room ideas in course 2, but in course 3 they came back I'll be definitely patching the difficulty soon

This level should be more open spaced, with less objects and items, it's very clustered, and also fix the tiles so it looks more usual, make it more shorter, and add the war timer, the mechanisms with the switch block is great, dont add keys though that's horrible, make sure the secrets are at when the war part starts.
I feel like he made up the secrets not being at the war part by making them all have a different theme. But, everything else? Agree.
Why shorter? It's better if it's longer. The longer, the more fun. Also Golf 2 was 8 mins long. So it's better to make it longer

For a first level, it’s pretty good. Lots of possible improvements that other have listed here though.
Always thought this level was a little bad, but for a first level, this is pretty cool.

7:30 somehow randomly got the "trip to the warzone" achivement
they got the achievement as the WAR timer was used and at the end of the level it had over a minute left, the game doesn't seem to care what level an achievement is gotten in because normally its impossible to get achievements outside of their respective levels

War timer. You need to destroy John to beat the level, because CYOP is weird with the whole "War Timer Active = Exit Door Open" thing. You can only go through the door with regular Pizza Time.

War timer allows you to do anything you can do in pizza time except undo John blocks, block escape doors and enter gates these things require pizza time

you mean the weird texture bug and the music bugging out after entering second course in dont make a golf clap? first one happens if you open the game up for too long and the other is outright impossible to fix

I have a questions about the mod in general. In relation to how Golf 1 is themed after regular Burger Joint stuff, and Golf 2 is themed after War and the Horrors that come with it. What is Golf 3 themed after? I feel like it's trying to go for a horror theme overall, but it's not well presented. It feels more of a rather cheap twist of expectation rather a horror type of level. It's not a bad level, and it seems the general public can agree that it's pretty decent for a level at worst.
I had no theme after this one but i will guarantee that the improved one has one however i dont want to tell every single thing in develepment so consider it hidden for now
@@molt2568 Understandable, a bit of general advice that I would give you in order to improve the level. Definitely try to go for a theme, I trust that you may have one in mind, and I wish you luck on implementing it well.
i think its pretty cool but one problem i did notice is that if you pickup a shotgun that has a timer, it will open the exit automatically instead of needing pillar john, which is only used if the timer is activated without a shotgun
I tried picking up the shotgun and then escaping without destroying pillar John and the exit/entrance somehow didn't let me in/out. So there's no problem. You just have to destroy pillar John before escaping
i feel like this stage works best as a set-up for golf mmdccxli in gerome's side project

I'm not sure but they made pizzaface slower. So it could be if time runs out it overrides and goes to normal speed.

Imagine if golf 2016 was golf 2019 but the layout become tighter and hellish as you go on and the floor break the war time begins, your met with all level themed door, except war and golf, anyways the golf hoop in each level theme course gives you time so dont think you can run and beat the hub and it ends on a 2019 course witch seem normal on the outside but hell in the inside, hell, your doing a course that looks useless, when you reach the goal then you realise that theres no golf block and you go back but the door was a sprite, your forced to go in the abanded sage, inside is a john piller, and a door leading into a exit

This level looks great. My only criticism is that it is a little hard to see in the areas where the screen is tinted red, I would suggest turning down the effect a bit. Great job on the level overall.
