I love how Claudia just gets straight to the point in this scene..I love the intense score to this as well..adds more to the moment right until she leaves..
There was something very tragic about all the first season characters, even Blake and Fallon. It was as if they were all being held back by some unexplainable force, preventing them from being free and happy!
I don't remember if she slept with him or not. But she didn't deny it. "DON'T YOU ALREADY HAVE ENOUGH?" Claudia was a good person. If I remember correctly, her little girl died. This was before Alexis. It was a whole different vibe. What if they didn't bring in Alexis? Would the soap have lasted? It wouldn't have been as outrageous.
Bellwood was always good, but this scene reflects what a fine, subtle, nuanced actress Linda Evans was in the first couple of years of the show, winning awards and no one laughing --- but the writing (and the static acting policy from the producers which kicked in from around season 3) changed that a lot.
@Dusk Hollow Claudia, Krystle and Fallon weren't all written like that initially. Claudia was a woman determined to get better; Krystle was determined to be her own woman in a foreign class; and Fallon rebuked the establishment in business and in marriage; most of that became tame once Alexis entered the court room.
Originally, there was a letter writing camoaign to brink Claudia (a unique character) back to the show. The producers decided to portray this mentally unstable person in a positive way. To prove that someone with mental health issues can recover and survive. I was one of the people who write a letter to bring back Claudia. I was fortunate to witness this show in its original run. Dynasty was such a big deal at the time.
Yes, they were lovers when Claudia was in the sanitarium and Krystle was Blake's secretary. It was her guilt over her affair with a married man that drove her into the arms of her boss. She married Blake to forget Matthew.

Claudia's sweater is ridiculously amazing and elegant...
by that time . early 80s Tanya Roberts in charlie´s Angels wore a similar one. but red and black. look it up in youtube Charlies Angels season 5
The fashion back then was at another level. That sweater is gorgeous. It’s the first thing I noticed.
I miss the 80ies.....so much
" Mrs Carrington " .....call me Krystal ....calls her Mrs Carrington again with defiance.
I loved Claudia, big mistake killing her off, she should've left pregnant with Adam's child in season 7
No she'd been passed around too much and the character had been tarnished thereby.
Omg Claudia, I could scream, but at the same time feel sorry for her😲😲😲
fascinating exchange... but Krystle is right. Claudia should be confronting Matthew her husband; not Krystle who did not even know her.
And then there’s the talent for burning structures to the ground.
LOL -- it's an acquired skill.
Pamela bellwood and Linda Evan's were both super beautiful women. Pamela's only 11 days younger then my mom.

She's not crazy here in my opinion she had the right to be upset
she's never been crazy

Yes, Evans and most other the actors are so good the first 2 seasons. It’s so disappointing what they do in Season 3 to the characters and actors
LINDSSAAAYYYY!!!
Had I been Krystle, I might have backed out of that conversation before Claudia got to the point, as it was a very odd exchange prior to that.
i think they let er out a little early
Alexis also could have said the same about talents.
hey maggietorro you really got a good laugh out of me w/your comment below! i liked claudia but she was a mess! LOL
...Do you come here often?
I missed Pamela Bellwood.
Not sure what the point of Claudia was after the first season!
Hmmm...I don't know. Someone who could act?

Her point was to triggers narcs like you
@@erikandrus4387 It is not feat to rebuke the establishment when you're part of it. Faux rebellion.

Did Krystal sleep with Matthew?

God, Claudia was such a downer, man.
She was a little of a downer back then, huh? Everytime she comes on the screen it's like this gray cloud kind of a feeling that comes through.
Claudia was such a miserable woman
I HATED CLAUDIA, THE WORST CHARACTER IN DYNASTY
Worse than Krystle?
HATED her!
@@KJTV67 ... LOL! I liked them both -- cruel torments and all...
@@grandpascorpio I called her Krysdull
@@KJTV67 ... She calls you "wonderful."
