You could add a stash and store to hold your favs by your sewing machine.

Another essential in my sewing room is 1/4" quilters tape. I use it to hold the fabric onto zippers instead of using pins or clips. Doesn't distort the zipper and I get a better result. And it will wash out though you don't really see it anyway. Also I plastic cutting mats from our dollar store ( they come 2 in a package and are clear so you can see through them) to make templates for items I make a lot of.

Thanks, yes, 1/4" quilters tape. I think I might need to do a series on this topic :)

    This is a great video!
Since you asked, a video of Sewing Room Essentials for Sergers, or a Sewing Room Essentials for Quilters.
Hey, maybe a whole series in 2024 - Embroiderers, Crafters, Home Dec Fans, etc.
Thank you for another informative and helpful video!

I also have a cut n press by my sewing machine except the fabric ironing side has "warped" and the lines are crocked now lol. But I don't use it to measure anyway so it doesn't really matter. To keep it from sliding on my tv tray I have a piece of the rubbery shelf liner under it.

those lines do get crooked don't them, but like you I don't use to measure, but if they weren't there I wonder what my mind might do, lol, I'm so used to them being there. Great idea for the sliding around!!
