Something I love about Kosemen’s designs is that you can still see traces of humanity even in the modified forms. Temptors, despite looking like living decorations, have eyes eerily similar to our own. Same goes for the swimmers and the tool-breeders. Lopsiders have an odd, asymmetrical body plan, but their hands are unquestionably human. And most of them still have very human-like ears and appendages. Really nails in the fact that these are all still homo sapiens, in some odd way. Very, very cool.

oh my god everything about this is amazing; the interactions between different human evolutions when they’re on the same planet, the soundtrack, even just the different environments from planet to planet this was just amazing
To the confused and/or curious, this animation is based on the book titled All Tomorrows. Each creature shown were once humans. If the lore has piqued your interest, I suggest looking it up.
Seeing it like this really brings out the horror of the situations. I feel the drawings we have all become accustom too felt almost like charts or diagrams of how discoverers of old would draw an flora or fauna they have never seen before, they sent sterile. But the moment you give them color and breathe life into these drawing, the real tragedy of the situation sinks in.
The clip with a ruin haunter is the most depressing one in my opinion, the way he drops his tool and covers his head shows how terrified and angry he is due to Qu ruining star people's world, it just hurts so much :(
So glad the algorithm is recommending this, the style is so well done, it has that sort of "out of the book" feeling with the pictures coming to life. Awesome work!
This could easily be the intro for an all tomorrows animated series. It would be cool if a lot of different animators could get on and construct stories in different styles based on what species each episode was centered around.
I've always thought that the book would wonderfully translate into an ultra-photorealistic documentary series, and these animations make me want it more.
@@Int37 the flesh things are called colonials, another abomination made by the qu, essentially they are qu waste dumps with organs and taste buds, these group of star people resisted the qu multiple times, which made the qu angry turning them into the colonials
Having the ruin haunter praying at the old pieces of technology near the end was my favourite part. It shows that they retained their sapience, and that they thought very highly of the people who built those structures
You did an amazing job giving the illustrations life and movement, hope more people see this, All Tomorrow's is a very interesting story of future human evolution that more people should check out
Is been a while since the last time I heard something about all tomorrow, I thought is dead so I was very surprised that someone is still into this, great job
I'm fascinated but distressed. It's unnerving to try to recognize them as human, like a wolf observing a pug, if it were capable of recognizing them as its genetically mangled progeny
So many people have tried their hand at animating C.M. Kösemen's work, and I respect their efforts. But if we were to have an animated and narrated version of the book, I imagine it'd work best in this style.
I really wanna see All Tomorrows made in the style of a Planet Earth documentary like that one they did about dinosaurs. And then it can be like those history channel documentaries when it gets to the evolved peoples

А через миллионы лет всех этих постлюдей больше не будет, все вымрут. И примтивно глупые, и высоко развитые - все. До меня только сейчас дошло, насколько это срашно. Насколько страшно осозновать, что представителей твоего вида превращают в кучу разного рода зверья, а через миллионы лет они все вымрут, не оставляя шанса на дальнейшее маломальское существования хотя-бы одного вида постлюдей... I am in love with those little moments when the subject’s face or body turns ~20° out of profile. I don’t care how much extra time it took to illustrate and rig each one, the effect multiplies the quality of these animations by one hundredfold.
