Trigger Warning: Though this ASMR roleplay is designed to help you to relax, it covers themes of trauma, PTSD, and childhood experiences, which some viewers may find triggering or upsetting.
It’s your first ASMR psychiatry session with a kindly, soft-spoken Austrian doctor. He’ll listen to you attentively as you answer some personal questions, offering insights where applicable, and dabbling with a bit of positive affirmation hypnotherapy.
I know there’s a disclaimer at the bottom, but just to reiterate I am in no way a qualified psychiatrist, and this video is absolutely not a replacement for therapy - but I do hope it helps you to relax and sleep. Enjoy!

🎙 What is ASMR? 🎧
ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) is synaesthesia of the soul. It’s a relaxing feeling, it’s a tingling down the spine, or it’s simply a sleep aid. Whether it’s being ‘held’ by someone you have confidence in, or ‘looked after’ by someone with authority, or just feeling ‘safe’ with someone you trust, it uses audio-visual triggers to enable you to let go of your worries and stresses - even just for a bit.
📽 What is FPC? 🎞
FPC (first person cinema) takes all the relaxing elements of ASMR but has much more of a focus on immersion and the suspension of disbelief. It’s kinda like being the main character in your own short movie, with popular figures you know and love, or entirely created worlds - just for you. There won’t be any visible mics or traditional triggers in these videos, and they will seem more unintentional than the usual ASMR videos - but they are unique and relaxing experiences designed to transport you to different places, worlds, and times.

I'm always amazed by how many characters this man can pull off and how damn well he does it. Brilliant. Someone please give him a part in a movie. Or parts. He can do a whole movie on his own even!

I've recently started watching "Hannibal" series and OMG why everything became so creepy now.
I know that Jim did Hannibal ASMR but I'm afraid that there is going to be some sort of jumpscare with killing us or something at the end of the vid lmao.

Still trying to get used to seeing only 1/2 of Jimmy’s face. Have been watching some of his old stuff. I can certainly see the difference in content, quality. I do miss the older, fun, goofy videos but enjoy anything Jim puts out.

Have you ever done a roleplay as the NBC television version of psychiatrist Hannibal Lecter? I know you can do an _American_ accent, and I'd wager you can do American with a smidgen of Lithuanian (and a wisp of Danish from actor Mads Mikkelsen, LOL). You could be speaking with Will Graham in one of their typical conversations about how his work with the FBI is getting to him. There could be hints of sinister things peppered in now and again. Not sure if you watched the television show--- a jewel of delicious crime melodrama which consisted of a rather dark yet marvelous 39 episodes--- but it had recurring doctor/patient sessions that were fascinating and often mesmerizing to behold.
Oh, I should probably also mention: Lecter in this adaptation was very dapper. I was impressed by how fashionable he appeared. Very GQ and all that.
I like the subtle tribute to Sigmund Freud.....with the look, and the pipe. Nice research!! Oh, and you'd make a good psychoanalyst btw!

Everyone constantly sucks your **** about script and acting so I’ll say it , yeah you’re good - but go further. No one ever won an academic acclaim for their acting on TH-cam , despite merit.
You’re going to have to be violently better than everyone else to get the type of merit I think your acting deserves , and I don’t think you’ll get there with everyone telling you you’re the shit all the time,
So in saying that, you can do even better.
You realize this is an ASMR video and not an audition, right? People are saying that because staring at a camera and acting like somebody else and staying in character for almost an hour while making it believable and doing it all in one take is fucking hard. I'm not sure if many actors could do that.

I enjoyed the hypnotism scene and the finger clicking. I always like the louder perfectly timed triggers, and so few times people use them.

This was a wonderfully reassuring character. I don't know if you're coming up with your monologue off the cuff, or if you're studying your subject in depth ahead of time, but I am continually amazed at how convincing your characters are, and how accurately you choose your words to convey their ken.
As much as I love your darker videos, I want you to know how much I’ve appreciated your recent handful of posts. I guess I really needed to hear from your kinder, gentler, caring characters. Thank you
