I am much the same way with vivid dreams that are almost like a premonition. If it’s dark, strange and wakes me from my sleep it tends to ruin my entire day and mood. Strange how our brains work. I really like those golden claws. Very pretty!
I dream almost every night. Dreams are usually weird anyway. And I also remember my dreams after I wake up. This used to bother me. But I told myself that dreams are not real, and I won’t let it affect me when I’m awake. My own mind creates these dreams, and my own mind can decide not to be bothered by them. Btw Darklite, I love your asmr videos, they really help me fall asleep.

You raise such interesting issues Alex. It is weird in a way that we know so much about our bodies and minds but are clueless about this whole other life we live in dreams and what there impact is on our psyche and waking life. Why is it possible to act in ways in dreams that may be anathema to who we are in our waking life. Sometimes this is deeply disturbing to our awake self. I'm very confident dreams are not always unconscious impulses and desires. So what motivates them at times. To be honest i would never take a dream at face value and act on it, eg let it influence a relationship 😊
I thought I was the only one that experienced sleep issues at season change. Glad I’m not alone. I have found taking a magnesium glycinate supplement helps with my sleep.
