Nice video mate. The last 2 weeks I've managed to get quite a lot of footage of the testing on the Carlingford line section One week I only did between Rydalmere & Dundas after checking out the Sandown line. The following week I did the whole Carlingford line section from Carlingford to Rosehill getting the testing at multiple locations while walking 7km from Carlingford to Parramatta I came across quite a lot of friendly drivers and crew saying hi, giving me a wave, flashing the lights and ringing the bell. Even had one driver gave me a hang loose gesture. It was great to see that they were enjoying seeing someone getting footage of the Parramatta light rail testing
Thanks Elliot. Telopea is my favourite station too because it was officially opened by my grandmother in 1925. Clearly I missed that event but I'm hoping to be there for this year's reopening. One thing to note for future videos, there's only one "i" in Yallamundi and it's right at the end😉
Hi Elliot 👋 I thoroughly enjoyed this presentation. Your voice-over is perfect with a calm and relaxing tone. Your videography is first class with amazing camera positioning and angles. I am sure the sudden stop at Telopea is for emergency brake testing, especially given the position that it occurred, which was near the pedestrian crossing. I am not sure why the covers were missing from the front of the Trams but maybe it was to facilitate easy towing should the tram breakdown. This is an absolute cracker of a presentation. Well done Elliot 👏 👍
Here in America, getting these systems built is a nightmare. We have way too many morons in politics who are incapable of understanding the need for mass transit .
Great video, bit of a random question but do you know if this will be considered part of the Sydney trams network like the Sydney City trams, or a separate network like Newcastle? Will it be Sydney L4 or Parramatta L1?
I have no idea i would expect Sydney L4 but since Parramatta is 2nd CBD and if it is like newcastle i would expect parramatta L1 but it depends what they think
May is a bit too soon I have a feeling it will open at the end of this year beacause metro extension is gonna open around the same month the tallawong to Chatswood opened so I think that for parramatta light rail, my opinion I could be wrong
my god i have been waiting for this moment for year i shall celebrate

Great footage Elliot!!
The acceleration of the light rail from Dundas station (@8:10) is quite impressive.

Wow your grandmother opened it! What a piece of history.
@@MrMSetOfficial Yeah. I only found out when I read the history of Telopea station. Her dad was one of the people who pushed for it to be added.
@@peterelvery then your dad did a great job on adding the station

Great video!
Nice work
Heya Elliot! Yes I heard about it on the News. Bro good video! Keep it up mate! They probably will extend it to connect to the other existing lines…
I’m really hoping the door buttons on the tram doors will be used, unlike the L1 line and Oscar H Sets.
It is actually used but only for stations like Wondabyne

@@nswtrains3153 or July we will see
@@EricYu1 that’s too later
At telopea i recognized those staff you met they are usually at the stop
Very narrow platforms. Not much room if the doors open in front of the shelters.
i am playing scr right now
Who cares?
Great video mate! Also, why did you unfriend me on roblox? I didn’t do anything to you.
For not-insiders : WHERE is this ?
Not mentioned once…
Mentioned more than once - Parramatta in Sydney NSW
@@tsetstransport
Aha , Sidney…
Where even is Parramatta?
