Is the car tune for just a map sensor or maf and map. What you can do is try unplugging your maf and see its will go into boost. Thats if the car lets you idle with maf unplugged. Not all cars have a good backup system

I switched to motorcycles long ago and for some reason CA cops go easier on moded bikes. I've actually been pulled over many times by bike CHPs on my bike and they tell me to slow it down and let me go. I never got warnings or breaks in my moded Integra.
