Another great lesson Zach. Thank you. I'd love to see you sometime in the future do a video on 25 yd/50 yd pitch shots. Maybe when you're back outdoors on the course. Most amateurs are wildly inconsistent on these often overlooked scoring shots and I think that's because golfers aren't quite sure of the proper mechanics. I know you've got that shot - like all the others - in your bag. Batting .300 might get you in the baseball HOF but that success percentage doesn't cut it on the golf course. Keep up the great work!
I thought I'd been doing the 'impact fix' (position at impact) correctly until I saw this video and checked - I was nowhere near where I needed to be as my right arm was parallel to left when it needs to be under and bent. Will try this at my next range session - Many thanks for the video!
What a class drill. 1.3 smash with an 8 iron is unbelievable and great distance especially given you only did a half swing. I will have to try that. Cheers Zach
Hi Zach Do you have to do something with your hands to close the clubface on impact. When I do the forward press my club face is pointing out to the right.
All your videos I watch, I take the technique to the range and work on it, But the worst feeling in golf is when you address the ball and say to yourself " I hope I can hit the ball"
Enjoy your teachings, but sometimes you show repeated the wrong things to do.... As a visual learner that is going in my brain path too reinforcing those unintentionally
You are the most precise instructor I have seen.
Thank you so much
Wow, thank you!
That‘s a great drill to get in the right Impact position. As you said, you can focus on different Parts to get there. And it‘s easy.
Yep, start with the end in mind.

Thanks my friend, that’s a great idea will look into doing some wedge specific videos.
Great video. Arm in line with the shaft makes sense. I’ll be rehearsing like she does to strike it straight! Thanks
Let us know how it goes
Great drill Zach. So simple but so logical and much needed by me. be well.-Russ
Thanks my friend
Great tip and I'll incorporate that too. 👍
Thanks coach.
Any time!

Great find. It really is a fairly contorted position. Once learned though it feels tremendous.

Definitely not confidence inspiring.
Just say what we should do. Not all the bad stuff. Just teel us all the things this pro is doing correctly. Period.
