Never been there, but I can remember the nostalgic feel of Hakone Skyline route due to my obsession with Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune when I was a kid.
I read lot of fujiama mountain based stories in my childhood back in 2000s. that was the first Japanese place in learned back in my school and it's one of my favourite place too. i can recognise this mountain easily because it has small amount of snow on it.

Konnichiwa. Aw Boooo, I was hoping you were gonna stop at some point and give us a Mount Fuji Money Shot !! I got one at 58:08. You know from the beginning till about the 50:42 mark, that is a Double Black Diamond Run !! An Expert Grand Prix Race course for experts only. However, I thought you did very well on those long and winded roads. I don't think I'd like to drive that course neither A) at Night nor B) in the Winter. TOOOO Dangerous for sure !! It was a beautiful drive. But take your eyes off the road for one second too long to look at Fuji and it is CURTAINS for you and your car. Ha Ha Ha Ha.
Can anyone tell me what the song is that starts around 28:00? I saw a sign just before that that I think says 'メロディペーブ'. We have a few of these in America, where the road 'sings' as you drive over it. I just don't recognize this song.
That song is Fuji-no-Yama (Mount of Fuji). If you drive in the opposite direction, you will hear "Zankoku na Tenshi no Teze" (A Cruel Angel's Thesis) , which is a famous anime song.
