Oh, nice intro buddy! How much I wish Sega kept the Japanese styled cover box instead of that horrendous checkered style...
You got me at paddle controller
The old Master System did just a good if not better than the NES in Australia. I knew more people as a kid who had a Master System than a NES. I was the only one with a NES.
Love you videos, will you make one about current sega eventually?
Awesome video man! It's a shame the poor support the SMS received in both Japan and the US.
Thanks Mr. Lord!
Alex kid reminds me of newspaper boy on the Genesis. Old memories 😁😂
Sega Lord X: I can't believe this wasn't released to the west
Also Sega Lord X: this game uses the paddle controller and utilized the FM chip
FM Chip was always optional. Paddle Control was easily changed to digital control, like the Game Gear port of Woody Pop.
Gotta love how some japanese media would do a lot of in deep videos about simple games like that breakout clone, like if there is a lot to say about it
Wait, I was almost positive Woody Pop came out in the US. I'm sure I saw advertisements for it, or saw it on the shelf at Toys R Us.
How did I get that idea?
BMX Trial: Alex Kidd is an awesome game not sure what your talking about. I agree that Galactic Protector is frustrating, seems designed specifically for the 2 player mode and I only have one paddle controller!
Gutted we have got a release of rygar
The Sega arcade in Tokyo closing down for good 😔 say goodbye guys
7:28 I have a Korean MD bootleg that has a ton of hacks of this one, does the paddle controller even work with the MegaDrive in Master System mode?
Good question. I have no idea.
