God, this game is so fucking good, and I wish I got into it a lot earlier... but at the same time, it's very, very long, and man does it play on a lot of emotions... XD
Y mucho dicen dique la musica sin copyright o de videojuegos es mala, pero esto transmite un sentimiento de melancolía grande, y más en las escenas que se usa, es excelente.
*Spoilers* Sigh... I don't mean to ruin things here, but I wonder just how tragic this song is still supposed to sound in hindsight when it turns out in Arc 5 that half of everything is just a conspiracy and fake sob story by Shion only posing as Mion (though in the end she was actually the real head all along and now just a rebel usurper or whatever), which explains the hypocritical and constant backstabbing afterwards... Like, who does theme fit more, Mion, Shion, or both...? Oh yeah, I forgot this also plays at least one more time when Keiichi asks if the real Mion in Arc 3 can kill Teppei or not but she refuses... Nah, I suppose it's definitely a good, tragic theme then, but yeah. :? 2 and 5 are kind of... complex. :p
I thought chapter 2 was the best question arc. Chapter 6 definitely is the best answer arc though. I loved the mental gymnastics that ryuukishi pulled off in chapter 2 and 5 tho
@@mattygam3r400 While all of the question arcs, I thought Chapter 2 was the weakest (not including chapter 4 -- that's kind of its own thing). It's still really good, but it does not hold a candle to Chapter 3. There are two scenes that will never leave my mind when looking back at Higurashi -- the scene when Rika jumps Rena in Chapter 6 as the music kicks in, and the scene in Chapter 3 where Keiichi is walking back to town after regaining consciousness in dead silence right as Snow 4 kicks in. Chills every single time. As for the answer arcs, for me it's a toss up between chapters 6 and 7. I probably give the edge to chapter 7, but it depends on the day.
My opinion is much different than the rest here I feel 2 is the best question arc, with that heck of a curveball ending and 5 to me is the best answer arc because it answers 2 alongside introducing us to the warm and nostalgic moments of characters like Shion and Satoshi
It plays several times throughout part 2, but one part that stuck out to me is when *spoiler if you haven't finished it* sonozaki has keichii tied up and he's thinking back to how all this could've been avoided if he would've given her the teddy bear in the first chapter.
This also plays in chapter 3 when *Spoiler* . . . Keiichi goes to Mion's house and asks her to "erase" Satoko's uncle by making the curse befall him on the night of the Watanagashi festival. It also plays in the scene where K1 is having an inner monologue on the club's powerlessness when it comes to save Satoko
The first time it played was probably when: *spoiler* The village is looking for Satoko and Rika, and Keiichi has a talk with Rena about entering the Storage room and thinking that she's gonna be cursed just by talking about it
we truly are "they" 😔
When we cry u.u
damn, such nostalgia. what an atmospheric game after all. the years go by, and the emotions are still the same

You may watch the new anime
Oh, I watched it. It's not bad, but it's completely different. I still prefer the novel and the original ending
That one scene at the end of Himatsubushi was so emotional, definitely one of the best scenes in Higurashi...
When you hand down the grocery bags to satoko...
Cry cries cries cry
God this track breaks me every time... it's so good
