Just got Latias, thanks for the video. I used exactly 100 max repels.
I went through 99 max repels, left bought 198 more ready for this grind and then i pop a max repel step into the grass and boom Latias. 😅🎉
Another classic Techno Trainer upload.
Update: it took me over 70 max repels. kill me.
Now the problem is I don’t remember if I clicked red or blue I was rushing for the other 2 legends and spent about an hour on catching them alone and completely forgot
So‚ I Buyed Some Max Repels Before I Use Them 1st Encounter Was Zigzagoon 2nd Was Manetrick & 3rd Was Latias 💀 I Was Having Master Ball I Caughted It 😊

I’ve got latías on very low health and asleep and used a bunch of ultra balls on him with wabbafet trapping him so he doesn’t escape but latías simply won’t be caught - how do I catch up?
Legendary pokemon in Gen 3 generally have a low catch rate. Typically around 3%. But yeah, suggest using a master ball if needed.
If you still have a master ball and haven't caught, perform Emerald battle frontier cloning glitch to multiply many master balls for your arsenal for utility use.
Another tip if you still have trouble catching Latias is that if you're on a virtual console then you can hack the memory to give you Latias without even having to encounter it! If you're not on a virtual console you should make the swtich for it.
I completed a full living national dex myself by hacking in all of the Pokémon. I even got Dioxys, Mew and Mewtwo.
I got him almost everytime thinking why is it always here😂😂

@@vihaankaushik4305 also if it flees check the dex and check latias' area where its found, it shifts everytime u enter another area

You catch a level 44 golbat on the bottom of victory read (basement level 2), it has mean look so it helps with the fight and keeping Latias there.

@@TechnoTrainer Ok, thoughts on this strategy? sableye can be caught at level 42 in the bottom floor of victory road; sableye learns mean look at level 45. it's dark typing gives psychic immunity. **however, it loses on speed, so you could paralyze latias with another mon or use a quick claw and gamble.
@@redauraforlife The turn you paralyze it, it will run away! Unless you re-encounter after paralysis so it's there.
The most common way is Shadow Tag Wobbuffett.

I found an easier way to do this without spending money.
Same concept, but instead of cycling through the grass you use an acro bike and hop in a patch.
You won’t burn through your repels

When you say it will never appear again do you just me for the gameplay? If you start the whole game over does that reset as well.
If you restart the file it will come back, yes. It's just once per save file

Every time i go near them they go to different location
Don’t fly to them, if you use bike or surf you can chase them down eventually
So I take it that Latios or Latias will still spawn even with a repel on? That’s the idea at least? 🤷🏻♂️
Repel scares away any wild Pokémon that are a lower level than the lead of your party.
Since the wild Pokémon in this area are level 12-14, and Latios/Latias are level 40, a Pokémon leading your party anywhere between those levels will filter anything that isn't Latios or Latias

And also, how do I unlock the island that is located to the east and then the south of Pacifilodge Town? The one that doesn’t show up on the map as interactive but I know it is there. @@BK-ol5uo Mirage Island is an extremely rare occurrence with very little pay off. It's like a 1/64000 chance of happening.
The island next to Pacifidlog Town is accessible in the post game
