I think you are right about the mach and mach pronunciation! It is founded by Nina and Gvantsa Macharshvili which is pronounced Mak-ar-shvili so it only makes sense to be pronounced that way
Love your vintage Chanel bags, just so you know the back pack is not real gold it’s gold plated as well just at that time, they would still used 24k gold plated hardware 😉
Omg that is definitely gold-plated hardware on the Chanel. They stopped gold-plating about 2008 but they never had solid gold hardware. That would be INSANELY expensive in any decade.
