It makes me sad for Billy and Jo. The pain they get when they talk about losing Elvis hurts my heart. It’s got to be so hard for them. I understand how they felt about having to leave. I couldn’t stay at my house after my husband died. I tried for a while but finally for your own sanity you have to get out.
I absolutely agree and I’m so sorry for your loss of you husband. I moved out three weeks after mine suddenly passed. 🖤

I think it’s admirable that you put yourself through the pain of telling the stories. You do it for the fans and you know Elvis would be so pleased. Theres a bus on hwy 18 going towards jackson tn that is said to be Elvis's bus..idk if its true tho
I did wonder what happened to the bus ? The one Billy told on them that it wasn’t Elvis Bus- I guess they had to get it gone cause Billy told the truth. Lol I think that’s funny. I had forgotten Billy told the truth about the bus.

Others you don’t get the feelings of the truth but only people making money off Elvis! Elvis is proud of the way you two have kept his memory alive an not the made up lies of others claiming to know him an how he was!

speaking to the point the lady made about it feeling like we are meeting Elvis, I couldnt agree more. I read every book I could about Elvis and there was always Billy and Jo in these books. Having them here on TH-cam, is like a dream come true.

Hi Danielle, Jo & Billy - what a fantastic video! I laughed and the story of the last night made me cry ! It was very emotional to hear , I can only imagine the emotions for you telling it ! I speak for myself on this one, when I say I've been a fan of Elvis since the day he passed ...I saw the news story and being born and raised in NYC they showed a clip of the MSG press conference...and I was hooked ...but I. Have to say I'm forever grateful for you sharing this story! It means so much to me personally ! God bless you all and I hope that you all have gotten over not feeling well after this event ! I was 1 yr old when Elvis passed away. And yet I can’t believe he’s gone if that makes any sense. Just love him so much!
I enjoy hearing these stories because they are told in everyday language, not enhanced or "prettied up" in any way for fame or fortune. Love your hat, Billy and vibrant personality! Jo is so pretty here, as always! And thank you, Danielle, for seeing that these stories are available for us.

I met you Billy but I was 14-year-old girl then just starting my lifelong love of elvis and I remember seeing aunt delta with Edmund and met uncle Vester and there was that bus there and i had no idea what it was even doing there.
Makes you wonder why on earth they tried to pass off a buss that wasn’t Elvis buss? Thats just silly. Glad Billy told the truth. lol that’s funny. They shouldn’t have tried to lie. They should respect the truth they get from you and Jo. Good grief.

I had a great time in Memphis during Elvis week and this was the best part of it. I loved listening to all the stories and some of the funny stories I find myself thinking about and just bust out laughing. I especially like the one with Vernon and the pops. Thank you Billy for signing the picture I took of you as a tour guide at Graceland in 82 it meant a lot to me. And thank you Danielle, Billy and Jo for doing this. I can’t wait to go again next year.

Thank you, Danielle, for posting this! Thank you, Billy and Jo for continuing to tell your stories about your life with Elvis. I love getting to know Elvis, the man, as opposed to Elvis the image or entertainer. He seems like such a funny person, friendly and someone I’d like to hang out with. I was 14 when he died, and I knew the entertainer that I had seen on the tv specials and heard on the radio, but when he died, I couldn’t believe it and I read everything I saw on him…I was more interested in the fact that he was close to and loved his moma than anything. And he loved peanut butter and banana sandwiches. I also grew up on PB and B sandwiches! And that he was a true southerner, like me. I’ve read a lot of books on Elvis over the years but nothing is more fun than hearing you guys tell your stories. That’s the kind of stuff I really like…AND I know it’s true. And it’s really really neat that you are related to him. Family. Blood kin. And we get to see you. Just like that one lady said, meeting you is like meeting Elvis. Not only were you related, but you were very close to him, like a brother. And you came from his beloved mother’s side of the family. Billy, you are a blessing to all of us. Thank you so much for sharing your life with us. And Jo, too. Thank you for sharing your life and husband with us. And thank you Danielle, for helping your grandparents get their stories out. For taking the time and spending the energy. We all know you are a busy woman, working, being a wife, a mother and all that entails. Hi Billy and Jo So you know why Elvis never went on a talk show? I wish we could have had more of Elvis interviews. I seen him in Las Vegas Concerts every year. Nobody could compare to Elvis shows Jean
Probably because of the Colonel Parker. He said if anyone was going to see Elvis they were going to pay to. Talk shows don't pay their guests to appear.
I think that was smart because so much mystery about him. My daughter said why are you on line looking up so much about Elvis? Because the only time you could see him was in a movie or a concert. 😊

Wasn't able to make it this year, but wanted to thank you both. You are good hearted, down to earth and and honest people wh0 actually lived the life of Elvis..You haven't written a book like so many others have, so I know you're not doing this for the money. But you have so many stories about your lives at Graceland and on the road, and (I hate to say this), but when your gone, these stories are gone too. You're one of the few connections we have left to Elvis. It had to have been so hard to live at Graceland once he was gone. Thank you again for all your stories. We certainly enjoy them'💕💕

Thank you Billy & Jo for for sharing your heartfelt stories with us. I went to Graceland in 1993 just a few months before aunt Delta passed away. I met her on the last tour of that grey, chilly, rainy day. Aunt Delta was so nice and talked with me for a few minutes. Bless your wonderful family!

The whole TG Shepard stuff bugged the heck out of me. He was on Elvis radio for a while and was always saying that he was Elvis's best friend and lived at Gracelans for years. Up until he was a DJ on Elvis radio, I never heard of him and Elvis even knowing each other. It was EPE propaganda!

It would be good if she wants to know the truth about her grandfather not made up fairy tales her grandmother has probably told her you would think she would want to know about all her family members it’s her history Billy grew up with them all he could tell her about Gladys ect l just hope she does this before it’s too late it will be her loss if she doesn’t

I have a question: waht was the ailment Billy said the Smiths had? It was not clear my end. Other thing is I do hope one day Jack Soden (or is it Joel) will soften with Billy and invite him back to Graceland for VVIP tour and talk. People will pay to follow and lsiten to him!!! And it would be very special. Maybe us fans should start a petition? Life is too short and so many are no longer with us. If it were really for the fans then you both should be there. Sad that l couldn’t be there but loving the videos you all look fantastic that new knee has done wonders for you Billy you should have had it done years ago maybe you should ask people not to ask about the last night you have had to tell it so many times and it hurts they can watch it on here so you don’t have to keep going through the pain l like the funny stories you all had so much fun and we all know you only tell it as it was no lies or made up crap there’s so many go around writing books ect and they where lucky if the meet him a couple of times to me there sad trying to make out it was more than what it was and telling lies thanks for all you give to us you have such a beautiful kid family Danielle does a brilliant job take care hugs and 🙏🙏🙏❤️

The folks that run Graceland are fools, in my opinion.
Anyone who really wants to know about Elvis needn’t go anywhere but to them.
The truth is what matters to me and being that Billy wasn’t only a cousin but more like a kid brother would know a more personal and complete picture.
Billy and Jo deserve respect because they know so much about him that some of it is just too personal to tell. That’s why what they do tell should be considered gospel.
