We lost our best 3 pacers and Captain/ best batsman before the second test, ALL of our top player injured. We were basically playing with our A-team. 36 all out. I honestly did think we'd win but happy the boys won it in a historic way.

    Australia played their best but India’s determination to win showed through. Because this was India’s B team and without their captain Kohli who didn’t bother to come back after his baby was born, this B team were set on winning for their country. Kohli must have thought that India was going to lose anyway because of so many team members injured and not in the team for this so important match. I think 1 more reason is that Australia never believed they wouldn't win at Gabba. I think they prepared well enough for the contenders. Mayank aggarwal, shaw, Rohit couldn't score. Pujara was restricted for scoring runs. I think they had no plan when Shardul , washi started to score and then Shubman, Pant just displayed absolute brilliance.

    When Rohit Sharma fell indians thought within 1 hour whole batting line-up will fall apart in pieces. It was nothing less than the miracle to win the test match without the contribution of modern day greats of india.
    Kohli away ,Rohit didn't score, rahane left India in the middle. It was youngsters magic. It made me remember 2007 T20 world cup.

    What we must appreciate is how balanced the news is when are reporting it. A loss in India would be reported dull and would find people to blame, etc. Let us accept it was a brilliant series and even Australians gave everything. This series did a lot to cricket. Must appreciate both sides.

  • @kickass12339
    @kickass12339 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Australia did pretty well in the series. More than India's win, it is the test cricket that has won in this age of mindless hitting in T20s. Indians showed grit and courage. Indian media can learn a lot from the Australians.
