Am surprised that SS is supportive of LBY going out to battle I mean they suppose to be getting married, what if something happened then she would be holding a funeral instead of a wedding. The emperor is trying his hardest to prevent this from happening but its mostly wasted on the young.
The small doses of comedy injected in this drama is such a relief with the character of the Emperor being compassionate, funny yet trying to be stoic / strict all at the same time.
Shaoshang came from a military family that's used to have family members going out to war and the next scene it was explained this
