He definately wouldn't agree with you at all. They loved each other till the end, they just couldn't live together anymore. They had Lisa to raise together. Graceland belongs to Lisa 100%. None of us can comprehend the temptations that were thrown at Elvis every day, the rock star that he was. He was human. He knew he wasn't perfect, but i believe he truly loved Pricilla. I also don't believe that he wanted to get married either because his career was so important to him. But he loved her and felt like his life was shattered when they divorced.

I don't know if Elvis had time to cheat during that time period or not with the grueling schedule that the Colonel had him keeping up with. Elvis was with Ann-Margret in 1964 but, as you say, Elvis and Priscilla weren't married yet. It's very hard to say what was going on in their lives during their married years.

Tamara Smith I can't disagree with what you say, as there was a lot of blame to go around, but what Stone did was quite dishonorable. As he would be inside Elvis' house, in California - when he knew he shouldn't be, and was even, in fact, caught in the shower with Priscilla at that house. Caught at that house, too - several times, by Sonny West, driving Priscilla off in one of Elvis' latest cars. While also, Stone knew Elvis and Elvis had even placed his trust in Stone by having Priscilla train under him. And, though people say Stone was so level headed and mature, because he was a great fighter, he was anything but. He was a great fighter, yes, but he was absolutely playing with fire and God knows what would have happened had Elvis caught Stone at the house. When two men have a personal regard for one another, like Elvis and Stone had, and then one of those men breaks that bond in the way Mike Stone did, it cuts deep and is a lot, lot worse than if he had been just somebody Elvis never knew.

Lisa Marie is "sole" owner of the entire estate of Elvis Presley; she sold the planes, cars, alot of the jumpsuits and other memorabilia. When she sold enough of the property surrounding Graceland for EPE to build the over 400 room hotel as well as a museum to display alot of his things she was willing to let go of, but she absolutely refused to sell Graceland where she does come several times a year. She kept his guitars, several of which her current husband uses in his band, she kept most of his jewelry, some of her favorite jump suits but I'm not sure if she kept the tuxedo and wedding gown in the museum at Graceland or if she let it go to EPE. Graceland is still open to the public except during the times she comes "home" to surround herself with the spirit of her father. The only worthwhile thing, in my opinion, that Lisa's mom did was create a business out of Elvis Presley once she was named executor of the estate when Vernon got so sick but like so many other things she tries to hide from the public, she became extremely wealthy drawing the paycheck as executor until Lisa was of age to inherit it all. Like all the other women who attempt to step into the spot light hoping to build a small fortune, they can each and everyone tell a story, a fantasy of their relationship with Elvis, write books, be available for public interviews and who is there to dispute it...........he is gone and I think he would be saddened by some of the things said about him by those he called friends and felt he could trust. Of the women you have Linda T who truly loved him and worked really hard doing whatever she could to help him, then there is Sheila Ryan I believe he loved deeply in a different way than the others but she, too, was not faithful and came up pregnant by James Caan whom she married then divorced very shortly after the baby was born, but most of all there was Kathy Westmoreland......a friend, a confidante, a lover, a woman with a very unique kinship with much of Elvis' feelings and beliefs about God, a trusted friend to whom he told all, withheld nothing and based on one of their discussions shortly before he died, he told Kathy everything & that he would die soon. He made her promise to be at the funeral and to sing "My Heavenly Father Watches Over Me"..........one of his favorite songs he loved to hear her sing. YES, the sparks, the connection, the passion between he and Ann Margaret was like a dream to him. She was his equal in every way; she was the female Elvis Presley and while they did have a short affair, each of them knew their careers came first and so they parted though the love never died.

I usually do not comment, but with the grace of God I do believe Priscilla was so deeply hurt until she lashed out with hurt. She destroyed her marriage and she destroyed another man's marriage, she did not care about a marriage she was just hurt. I also believe just like she came to Elvis as a child she left the same way and that was why she went with Mike Stone. I don't think she really thought about the fact as an evil woman to tear up her home and another woman's home. She did'nt really love love Mike. When she fell, Mike's kindness caught her and he was just a nice guy that she could see herself with to get away from Elvis cause she wanted to leave but did not know how. I think her escape was quite clever.

None of us can comprehend the temptations that were thrown at Elvis every day, the rock star that he was. He was human. He knew he wasn't perfect, but i believe he truly loved Pricilla. I also don't believe that he wanted to get married either because his career was so important to him. But he loved her and felt like his life was shattered when they divorced.

I don't know if Elvis had time to cheat during that time period or not with the grueling schedule that the Colonel had him keeping up with. Elvis was with Ann-Margret in 1964 but, as you say, Elvis and Priscilla weren't married yet. It's very hard to say what was going on in their lives during their married years.

Tamara Smith I can't disagree with what you say, as there was a lot of blame to go around, but what Stone did was quite dishonorable. As he would be inside Elvis' house, in California - when he knew he shouldn't be, and was even, in fact, caught in the shower with Priscilla at that house. Caught at that house, too - several times, by Sonny West, driving Priscilla off in one of Elvis' latest cars. While also, Stone knew Elvis and Elvis had even placed his trust in Stone by having Priscilla train under him. And, though people say Stone was so level headed and mature, because he was a great fighter, he was anything but. He was a great fighter, yes, but he was absolutely playing with fire and God knows what would have happened had Elvis caught Stone at the house. When two men have a personal regard for one another, like Elvis and Stone had, and then one of those men breaks that bond in the way Mike Stone did, it cuts deep and is a lot, lot worse than if he had been just somebody Elvis never knew.

Lisa Marie is "sole" owner of the entire estate of Elvis Presley; she sold the planes, cars, alot of the jumpsuits and other memorabilia. When she sold enough of the property surrounding Graceland for EPE to build the over 400 room hotel as well as a museum to display alot of his things she was willing to let go of, but she absolutely refused to sell Graceland where she does come several times a year. She kept his guitars, several of which her current husband uses in his band, she kept most of his jewelry, some of her favorite jump suits but I'm not sure if she kept the tuxedo and wedding gown in the museum at Graceland or if she let it go to EPE. Graceland is still open to the public except during the times she comes "home" to surround herself with the spirit of her father. The only worthwhile thing, in my opinion, that Lisa's mom did was create a business out of Elvis Presley once she was named executor of the estate when Vernon got so sick but like so many other things she tries to hide from the public, she became extremely wealthy drawing the paycheck as executor until Lisa was of age to inherit it all. Like all the other women who attempt to step into the spot light hoping to build a small fortune, they can each and everyone tell a story, a fantasy of their relationship with Elvis, write books, be available for public interviews and who is there to dispute it...........he is gone and I think he would be saddened by some of the things said about him by those he called friends and felt he could trust. Of the women you have Linda T who truly loved him and worked really hard doing whatever she could to help him, then there is Sheila Ryan I believe he loved deeply in a different way than the others but she, too, was not faithful and came up pregnant by James Caan whom she married then divorced very shortly after the baby was born, but most of all there was Kathy Westmoreland......a friend, a confidante, a lover, a woman with a very unique kinship with much of Elvis' feelings and beliefs about God, a trusted friend to whom he told all, withheld nothing and based on one of their discussions shortly before he died, he told Kathy everything & that he would die soon. He made her promise to be at the funeral and to sing "My Heavenly Father Watches Over Me"..........one of his favorite songs he loved to hear her sing. YES, the sparks, the connection, the passion between he and Ann Margaret was like a dream to him. She was his equal in every way; she was the female Elvis Presley and while they did have a short affair, each of them knew their careers came first and so they parted though the love never died.
Saphire.......am going to have to double check on that.........I read about the particulars of the sale Lisa made and was blown away that she had signed away all rights to almost all of her dads music to the same buyer as what is now Elvis Presley Enterprises being the same buyer of the property where now stands the 450 room hotel/motel overlooking Graceland which Lisa does still own closing off any tours when she decides to come over from England to spend a week or so at Graceland. ........in that sale (again am going to research it once again) but she selected the items that would be left at the museum on Graceland property, also choosing the items that she would keep taking them back to England. I've often wondered why Elvis seems to be shunned in everything I see or hear about that does include oldies which made me wonder if, in fact, she simply did not want to be constricted with the amount of work that would naturally go along with her having to work with EPE anytime they attempted to put on special events.........I've never heard or read anything about EP's music being sold to Michael Jackson nor having to be sold to pay off Priscilla..........I did read somewhere that Priscilla was paid $500,000 but of course when Vernon got sick enough he could no longer maintain the position of executor of the estate, he signed it over to her thereby giving her quite a healthy executor's fee until Lisa turned 25 I believe it was. Now you have me quite intrigued so after a doctor's appointment I have tomorrow, I will be spending hours upon hours researching all over again........

I usually do not comment, but with the grace of God I do believe Priscilla was so deeply hurt until she lashed out with hurt. She destroyed her marriage and she destroyed another man's marriage, she did not care about a marriage she was just hurt. I also believe just like she came to Elvis as a child she left the same way and that was why she went with Mike Stone. I don't think she really thought about the fact as an evil woman to tear up her home and another woman's home. She did'nt really love love Mike. When she fell, Mike's kindness caught her and he was just a nice guy that she could see herself with to get away from Elvis cause she wanted to leave but did not know how. I think her escape was quite clever.
I read somewhere that she chose Mike for her safety & protection.
peskypiscilly had 7years to leave Graceland there was no way she was going to leave without the title of Mrs before her name, or a child to secure her future control of Elvis's life & legacy. she is a clever one. Elvis within 4 years was dead. to this day he cannot move on without her. He needed to smarten up to escape her, & its 2022. he received a life sentence from her. she won it all.
