i thought miles losing uncle aaron in the first movie was his spider loss. he and his uncle were really close. more of a mentor then his father. he was killed because he refused to kill Miles and telling to him he was the best of us and just keep going. lesson learned, killing his father too to check off the spiderman check list is just overkill for me
I mean his uncle was a important person that was killed but his dad is way more important uncle Ben meant more because he raised Peter uncle Arron was cool he didn’t raise him tho so his dad is really the loss or mom losing his uncle is like what Andrew Garfield Spider-Man went through Losing Gwen it was important but wasn’t the major death that made him spider man

The Spot is my favorite Spidey villain and probably my favorite Marvel villain. I first saw him in the 90s cartoon, but he's basically a scientist who made a portal tech and got i na lab accident where he can willingly create more. He's not super violent, kind of a dork? But he's hard to take down because of the portals (he can redirect punches and spider webs that hit his body) and can't die I guess, but he basically just gets roped into other villain stuff or tries to steal stuff.
I have a theory. I think Miguel doesn't approve of Miles because he doesn't see him as a real Spider-Man. If you go back and watch the first film, the spider that bit Miles glitches like the way the other Spider-people did. Meaning it must've come from another universe. I think Miguel is going to argue that Miles isn't a real Spider-Man since his spider bite wasn't supposed to happen. Also, the directors mentioned that Miles has an interesting connection with Spot. Also Miguel says in this trailer that he can choose between saving one person or saving all the worlds. I think Miles is going to somehow know who Spot actually is and would be against taking him down. So Miguel probably has 2 reasons to hate Miles in this.

What makes you think it's his Dad? Note it seems his issues in the movie, judging by these 2 trailers, is with his mother.
