Thank you for watching the video. Please make sure to watch the entire video before leaving a comment. Just to address future comments:
    1. The aim of this video was just to explain the concept of leasing in detail.
    2. I share my own personal stories to make it more relatable, practical and informative.
    3. And before you judge our decisions please note that people’s income levels are not the same.
    4. We are not choosing luxury because we want to impress people, but we’re just feeding our lifelong dreams.
    5. Hubby works very hard, he’s allowed to reward himself with whatever car that makes him happy as long as he’s not neglecting his other financial responsibilities.
    5. Hubby returned the car because he was buying another one. Before you judge or offer advice, know that We can afford these luxuries and we do have investments and we’re living below our means and we still plan to make more money so we can afford even more luxuries like even leasing a private jet not only just cars😂❤

Instead of judging, why can't we thank them for coming out to share with us their experiences so we don't fall for the same traps in the future? Money is spiritual, and it's always looks real when your emotions take over. "We listen, We take Notes , and We Don't Judge." Thank you for the valuable lesson shared on this video. ❤

I bought a 2015 Hyundai Accent and saved R53k on the deal. When we ran into financial difficulties, we were able to sell the car back to Hyundai, cash out, and buy a car cash. I won't be financing a car again. Cars are just a means of transportation, not a status symbol and the maintenance cost leaves a big hole in your pocket.

We sin differently and instead of learning we chose to judge. Thnx for making your life experience a teachable moment.
Personally um glad l outgrew my need to please so quickly. And being a zimbabwean you forced to buy cash, which helps and will keep your options quite limited to what u hv.

So true, leasing (in my opinion) is more expensive than buying. If you don’t plan on keeping a car or considering resell/resale value after 3 years or 5 years then lease but buying is cheaper

If you compare over 6 years of leasing vs buying, leasing will always be more expensive because the dealer is making the profit and keeping the car.

At the 13th minute, when estimating how much it could have been if he had taken the traditional instalment sale with balloon; He would have had to use a different finance provider like a bank because with BMW, 72 months maximum balloon is 30%, if you want 40% balloon, the months must go down to a max of 60.
The online BMW Vehicle Finance Calculator also disallows having 72 months with 40% balloon.

Is it more cost-effective to switch cars frequently, or would it make more sense to commit to a high-premium car, save up for potential repairs, and keep it for many years or even a lifetime?

Thank my sister. You are helping a lot of people...Me,guru n this game, Those guys are sharks. Unfortunately they capitalize, just like apex predator. Nothing wrong with class. In these game, is there are rules. If you are in the market, ask around , chances are you will run in, with a guru like me. That bmw 420i, is not worth that price everywhere. Shop around, ,,My sister, lease is not flexible, it is a trap.A ballon or so called residual, is a recipe for disaster. Same as re financing the car, you are going to be hand up all time. Thanks beautiful, you help many.

I will never understand why people buy cars on finance, why not buy a car cash even its a polo or ford fiesta, no stress at all. Or do these people buy cars on finance to impress people?

    • @nhlanhlaradebe8
      @nhlanhlaradebe8 18 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

It's because majority of people don't have that kind of cash stashed somewhere.
Sometimes where we choose to stay there's no reliable public transport and we end up forced to have a car.
I do understand does not necessarily have to buy the luxury car but then again people have preferences.
At the moment busy planning to save for a house.
A car is affordable even on finance because of shorter repayment period compared to buying a house.

For the fact that she is CA and buying car on credit, shows she doesn’t understand finances and how money works. No generational building just low self-esteem using material to feel the void. Sad story.
Unfortunately financial education is not taught at school even with financial degree.
Black SA uppermiddle has an opportunity to change things in terms of ownership in the country but busy with material things that depreciate. 😢
