Wow, I just came back to watch this. Sindhu was totally gamed. She couldn't deal with Ratchanok's deception at all.
And Ratchanok played deception on almost every shot. It takes massive confidence and guts to play like this in SF round of the World Championships!

Sindhu has come a long way now
She defeated ratchanok in the sf of bwf world tour finals in same stadium
That's because Intanon's performance had declined after 2015.
Her best years were 2013-2015.

Both of them aren't doing well right now..
Intanon, being the youngest world champion ever,
It was expected that she would dominate WS by now but she is far from it.
Her ranking is 5th and 6th consistently.
And this is not just ranking.
This is a very accurate reflection of her standing in WS.
Tai Tzu Ying, Chen Yu Fei, Okuhara, Yamaguchi, Marin ---- these 5 players are much much more consistent than Intanon.
As for Sindhu. She is literally the worst top 8 player at the moment.
She has been CONSISTENTLY knocked out in early rounds of all the tournament she had joined in the last 2-3 years. Literally, the only tournament she has won in the last 3 years was WC 2019.
If you compare these 2 players with the likes of TTY, CYF, Marin, Okuhara, Yamaguchi,
You would realise what I'm talking about.

Okuhara didn't win single tournament in 2019 she did reach some finals though
TTY is very consistent in world tour but when it comes it wc or Olympics she didn't perform at all
Very abysmal performance that she didn't even win bronze
Marin on the other hand is very good in both superseries and world championships
Chen yu fei started doing well in 2019
Coming to Sindhu I agree after 2018 she is doing very bad except for wc 2019 and I agree she has been in her worst form
But she somehow finds form during major events so I hope she does well in this Olympics

She was on a lot of finals in 2019.
Even tho she didn't win any title, being in the finals consistently is a testament of one's consistency.

I'm a huge fan of Intanon.
I like her personality and skills
But..... I just can't deny the fact that she had already declined a lot since her younger years.
