This is the first time I heard of Brave Frontier closing and it's after the day it's closed. This game... gave me a fuck ton of memories. I love playing the hell out of it and for it to be so free to play friendly at the end of its live was absolutely amazing. Thanks Brave Frontier for being there for me when I was young.
Years ago when my high school graduation ended in 2014, my family took a ride home. My mom let me play on her cell phone during the boring ride. That’s when I discovered apps. I stumbled upon Brave Frontier. It looked like fun so I downloaded it and I had a blast. BF is what got me into apps and made me want a cell phone that could do apps. During the summer of that year, I got my first cell phone that could do apps. I immediately downloaded BF and had a blast. I eventually took a break and only played when special events to get collaboration units happened. But I fully got back in to the game when Fairytail was added. When I got all the characters, I immediately used all the items I had saved to level them up and evolve them to the fullest and then I zoomed my way through the first half of the story. Then I played regularly and got more excited when MHA characters were added. Eventually I finally finished the first story and it was easy since I got all the collaboration units and quickly made them the strongest they could be and equipped them with the best items. I got to finally go to the beach with Tillith but was psyched when I heard the story would continue in a new world where I’m a unit that could change it’s element. BUT I NEVER GOT PAST THAT GIANT THUNDER TYPE BOSS EARLY IN THE STORY! My only regret is that I never finished the story and got back to the beach with Tillith. So long Brave Frontier. It was fun

Dang, this was my favorite game as a kid, and one of the most well crafted I'd ever seen. I've still yet to see a gacha this good, you can tell they put heart into it from the beautiful art to the descriptions that give you lore and some background for your fav units
I remember many memorable moments from this game from my younger years. My first summon (Will), beating Maxwell’s trial, reaching the end of story mode, finally beating some high end rifts, being in the guild called Slayas, and finally obtaining Heaven’s edge. This game will hold a very special place in my mind and heart.
This game was way ahead of its time art wise. It was an incredible in it's character design and I hope they one day decide to bring the IP back that will fit more modern times.

This is a comment I said on another video. It's insanely long, sorry in advance. Oh and the servers literally went down as I was typing it too. So I didn't get to say goodbye in the way I wanted...but anyway: I'm currently staying up until the servers go down. I first started playing Brave Frontier on Christmas Eve 2013, went through multiple accounts (because I was a 10y/o kid who only got cheap tablets back then), and yet I never once payed a cent after all this time lol. This is the one game I could always come back to though. Idk how to make this not sound weird, but this game feels like a childhood best friend to me. I grew up with it, and I was always bummed out when whatever device I was using didn't have enough storage to play it, or when the device got old and disfunctional to where it would crash 24/7, making the game unplayable lol. Dang man... I remember when the "Deemo and the Girl" collaboration happened. I think it might have been the first collab. I tried to beat the boss fight with my 3 and 4 star units, but I was a bit too underpowered haha. I remember the music on that mission went HARD though, I should probably search it up. I also remember how absolutely hyped I was when super brave burst and 6 star evolutions were added, and I had a similar reaction with 7 star evo and ultimate brave burst. Around 2017 - My old tablet was rendered useless and my phone at the time didn't have enough storage to play the game when omni came out, but I remember being so confused when I finally was able to play again on my newer phone and saw the rainbow omni star. I soon also found out about omni +, and at that point I thought these evolutions were going a bit far, but then realized omni + wasn't actually that huge of an upgrade. The first collaboration that happened upon my return was a Guilty Gear collab. Once again, I found myself underpowered with my janky team of like, two 7 stars and a weak omni (the free, claimable Elphelt), since this account was still fairly new, but also once again, the music slapped so hard I couldn't get mad. I would just jam out to Elphelt's theme, while fighting Elphelt, with my own Elphelt, and then losing to Elphelt lol. During New Year 2018 or 2019 I managed to get my favorite original character, Lava, back from a list of units from which we were able to choose a single unit monthly, and oh boy did I finally find peace with the game lol. Lava was my first ever summon on my original account, and thank goodness I was able to get her back then, because that was basically my last chance. All OG units would become forever unobtainable a couple months later. Fun fact: When I first summoned her, I thought she was a boy, cause for some reason I didn't see her boobs. I was so innocent 👨🦯. Also it was her 3 star evolution, not the 2 star base form one. Also her old attack animation is sick. Anyway, I got a Galaxy S9 for Christmas in 2019 and from then to 2021, I would go on to level up WAY higher than any other account I ever owned combined, and participate in every event that ever came out since. I was finally playing the game on a stable device in peace, so I wanted to see what I could do. Screw Colosium, but by 2022 I was unbeatable in the nomal arena and monthly vortex arenas, like I would consistently get top 300 in the monthly vortex arena with 0 losses. I just checked, and the servers just went down... I can hear my heart pounding... I won't let this game be forgotten if it's the last thing I do. For anyone who knows about Lava's canonical fate, I feel like I'm in Vargas' position in her final moments as she dissappears from his arms... Rest easy, Lava...your beautifully designed, 2d, mouthless, chibi self kept me better company, and was more trustworthy and loyal than some real life people I've met haha. If only you had the ability to feel proud of yourself...
I remember being so in love with this game when I was younger. As the years went by, I'd occasionally pick up the game on and off for small periods of time, but the fact that I won't even be able to do that anymore is honestly kind of sad. For a mobile game, there was just so much content, so much cool lore, and hell, so many cool character designs. I think my first ever summon got me Dion or something, but characters like Mifune and Kira had such cool designs in my opinion and it's sad that I can never mindlessly swipe their brave burst attacks again. Also, I've got a question- what's the name of that unit with the white hair that used those big gold rings as weapons? They were one of my favorites to use, but I can't quite remember who they were.

I started playing Brave shortly after it first released while I was still in high school. I then went on hiatus for a couple of years. I somehow came across your videos when I was in college. Your videos help rekindled the love and enjoyment I initially had for this game. Even more your videos really helped me through the tougher trials of the game too. I can honestly say because of your videos I became a better player and key member for some of the top guilds that regularly pushed top 20, even top 10. It was one heck of a ride!
A damn shame. There were so many things I never got to accomplish, units to evolve, events to complete, and I never finished the story. Hats off to the classic.

Almost a year and I'm still very upset. I miss this game immensly, even though if it were to come back there would be no reason to play it anymore. Aww man, the memories of my time playing this game is flooding in all at once! So many great memories made playing it, this was also my first gacha game and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I loved mostly everything about it, the character designs, the story, amazing soundtracks, unique abilities, and just that satisfying feeling you got when you summoned who you wanted haha! Maybe if we're lucky, they might have a massively overhauled and revamped BF game in the works. It seems stupid to axe your best series unless you're going out of business. But nothing has been said in regards to such a thing. Also why keep the app on the play store if it no longer works? Things just don't add up, here.
I’ve been playing Brave Frontier on and off since middle school. Came back to the game about 2 months ago and then found out it was gonna shut down. I’m going to miss all of the memories that I have with the game

My first summon ever way back in 2014 was Valkyrie and my last summon was S'eljah, and I think that was a fitting end, as S'eljah canonical wins in the end because BF is over.
İ still remember vividly back when İ had no phone and had to borrow from my brother to play this game, then used the neighbor's wifi. Despite all difficulties, İ managed to play this game until its official shutdown. Seeing the "maintenance" announcement (which İ know obviously will last FOREVER as per previous news from the developer), İ couldn't help but bursting into tears and suffered serious breakdown afterwards. Thank you Gumi for being my pioneer into the world of gacha games and creating such a great memories.
Let's hope someone with a high level of experience and legal workaround experience can come up with an offline version of this game. Someone with dedication. Yes it would be VERY difficult to do but man it would make so many people happy.

NFT is pretty much is the reason why they shut down everything to make stuff in Brave Frontier Heroes more valuable.. There is no other reason why they just suddenly decided to pull the plug on everything and just leave the NFT alive (the least playerbase) with no replacement for any of the main game.
Some things I don't get. Why axe your best series when you have only two other titles (one of which is a crappy slot game)? And why keep the app on the Google Play store even after killing the game? Do they have something planned that they're keeping from us?
I set a game rule for myself, to only female keep characters as my summon , whenever I got really good unit, not matter how got he is even if he is meta unit I will trade him in exchange of point. That does bring some difficulty but this is my collection style and I and happy with it, besides it make me treasure all my unit even more then usual. I build my team bit by bit, until I can dominate every single element in vertex arena, until I can punch through any mission with pure brute force without the need of special effect like debuff or stun. Now all I had left with is just some screenshot and memory.

Been playing this game since 2014. I had so much fun with it. And I'd say it is one of the best gacha games out there. It is sad to see it go really 😞 I'll miss my Units 🥺💔
Sad to see it go 😔 been on my phone since I was a kid. Eye was my first hero and my favorite out of the 4! Would always find a way to fit him in to my squad. I also remember fighting the totems to upgrade my characters every week!

NFT is pretty much is the reason why they shut down everything to make stuff in Brave Frontier Heroes more valuable.. There is no other reason why they just suddenly decided to pull the plug on everything and just leave the NFT alive (the least playerbase) with no replacement for any of the main game.

Some things I don't get. Why axe your best series when you have only two other titles (one of which is a crappy slot game)? And why keep the app on the Google Play store even after killing the game? Do they have something planned that they're keeping from us?

I set a game rule for myself, to only female keep characters as my summon , whenever I got really good unit, not matter how got he is even if he is meta unit I will trade him in exchange of point.
That does bring some difficulty but this is my collection style and I and happy with it, besides it make me treasure all my unit even more then usual.
I build my team bit by bit, until I can dominate every single element in vertex arena, until I can punch through any mission with pure brute force without the need of special effect like debuff or stun.
Now all I had left with is just some screenshot and memory.
It's so sad!!!!!!
