Unfortunately there is no such feature yet, but im hoping they will add something like it in the near future. But I recently covered an alternative app that does the remote like filmic but even better: th-cam.com/video/h_kXSWTbeKQ/w-d-xo.html
In all fairness, I love Protake's interface, it's such a great user experience! I'll be uploading my review for it in the next 2 weeks probably. What let's it done for me are the limitations on my Android like max 30fps or max 48mbps bitrate for 1080p (or 96mbps for 4K). Other than that, the multi-device linking and monitoring is a game-changer, and I love their Alexa-C Log profile.
Excuse me, is there a way to use the front camera for video and have manual focus? And is there also a face detect box in auto? I would appreciate a response. Thanks in advance.
Do you mean the selfie camera? It should be accessible but as for manual focus, that may depend on each phone model. Unfortunately there is no face detect box in auto, not specifically, but if you forward this suggestion to the developers i'm sure they can find a way to incorporate it in a future update!
Hi when I choose a Gamut (color space) is there a specific log profile I need to use for the color space or are they interchangable? Most of the log profiles look really bizarre and difficult to color grade did you experience this? I am wondering if I am doing something wrong? Thank you
If you're using Davinci Resolve as your editor, it wont matter so much since you can choose gamut color space and log gamma curve independently. But on any other editing software you cant. So there are gamut and log combinations that are better suited for each other, which i showed paired examples of in my mcpro log profiles video. If you're experience bizarre results, double check that you're not doubling up on gamma curves coz you can also apply it on the gpu level (the icon that looks like a microchip). I only ever do log on the sensor (the icon that looks like a camera iris)
Hi Sujit. At the moment, only the Motion Cam app on Android is capable of recording Raw video on smartphones (not even the latest iPhone can do that). If you want to learn more, I made a video about it here: th-cam.com/video/DX1FEtEnt5Y/w-d-xo.html
Hey RJ! Awesome video as always! Thank you for the in-depth explanation. Can I ask your help about the app? The issue is the constant FPS mode. My video and audio drifts out of sync. Regardless if the setting is off or on. I'm recording videos using a Oneplus 7pro. Do you know any fix for this? Any help is much appreciated!
Hi Adrian, after reading the mcpro24fps technical guide, it seems there is indeed a problem when it comes to Xiaomi and OnePlus phones which holds a native framerate frequency of 61fps rather than 60fps. The 0.5/1fps difference causes audio to be out of sync. The only fix i can think of is in post, manually adjusting in your video editor the duration of your video and audio so that they match/line-up
@@RJBaculo thank you for the response. I was afraid that was the fix. I have been doing that for the past 3 videos. I found a software called handbrake. I'll try to see if that fixes the problem. I'll post back if it was successful. Again, thanks for the response.
You got a new sub because I am a long MCPRO24FPS user for a while now, why is it on my Samsung A50s, when on Manual, when I change the ISO, nothing happens to exposure 🤔?
Thanks for the sub, my friend! Yes, that's odd that you can't change ISO with your A50s. Try contacting the developers regarding your issue. They're very responsive and helpful!
Has anyone experienced files that don't completely record/save? For example, "_.pending-1638980436-V210101-120000-24fps-auto..." is what the file will be labeled after recording, or I'll have a file only showing a video player's ( i.e., QuickTime, VLC ) icon for the thumbnail, obviously corrupted... can anyone help me understand what I am doing incorrectly, or what adjustments I need to make for resolution? Also, for the first time, I experienced echoing in the audio while recording. Thank you for any and all feedback.
You're correct, 50fps isn't available. If you contact the developers, they may very well include it in one of their future updates. They're very receptive to suggestions.

Awesome video man so many technical stuff that I didn't understand
Thanks man, glad it helped.
Hi, I would like to ask, do you know why I can't record with audio, I can't change the audio input source, when selected it just becomes off. 5:13
Are you still having the same problem? Could be a device-related issue.
super!!! thanks!!
Thanks Pavel!
Is there a remote app for controlling on a tablet like filmic has?
Unfortunately there is no such feature yet, but im hoping they will add something like it in the near future. But I recently covered an alternative app that does the remote like filmic but even better: th-cam.com/video/h_kXSWTbeKQ/w-d-xo.html
Thank you so much...I learnt alot from this video
Thanks Jenny! Happy shooting!
Awesome video. I have this app but I've been avoiding it and using Protake because the Interface is way simpler.

what version is that?
If I'm recording with a microphone, can I monitor the audio in real time while recording?
I believe you can if you use one of those splitter cables that has a line for the mic and the other for your headphones.
Very informative video, can we convert 1.33 anamorphic footage from Sirui VD-01 through this app. Mine is Samsung Android mobile.
Most definitely you can with this app :)
Thanks Sir. Will you please inform me about raw shooting.

What phone model are you using? Could be compatibility issues.
I use the Samsung A32.
"Also, for the first time, I experienced echoing in the audio while recording."
Are you using the camera mic? Get an external (cardioid) mic.
Hi, I really like your videos and this app, can I record in 50 fps? I can't see the option. I really need it. Thanks again

when I turn off the GPU my camera looks blurry, but when GPU turned on it looks good
The best thing about Pro24 is that its available as a single purchase app. FP is ONLY available via a subscription. No thanks.
❤️MCPro24fps
what phone are you using mcpro24fps? or in this tutorial?
Using a 2-year-old Samsung S10 in this one!
@@RJBaculo just as I tough ;) I am using OnePlus 7Pro and I am looking at this app, as shooting video was always my hobby :)
Which source for an external USB-C microphone (i.e Rode Video Mic Pro MKII).
I use Google Pixel 7 Pro.
Thanks in advance
