Just got my 96’ EU spec it got a fridge still ice cold! But it still need some few minor repairs. I love that you can easily work on it, replacement are mostly plug and play no need computers to program which is a plus.
@@EnthusiastCarHangar Here in cambodia parts available are for US spec, most are interchangeable but some are not. I had to order it from europe which cost an arm and a leg haha.

Nice review. I also have this exact car in the same silver paint. It has been a very reliable car and it's a dream to drive on long trips. Quiet and smooth. I think I get about 19mpg on the highway. Not great but not bad for the size and weight. It's a heavy car!
Has this car had the front end of the body repaired? There are not enough plates on the radiator frame, a broken piece of the sealant sticks out and the rubber stops in the body color are painted?
It’s part of the memory seats. I haven’t done it for a while. I think you push the green button and hold it and then select 1,2 or 3 to program the seat and mirror settings.
Not everything but a lot. For some years the keys are not available anymore nor are the foldable cup holders. I think the lights still are. And there are aftermarket ones.
@@EnthusiastCarHangar Thanks for the reply, but I sorted this out months ago. I was able to get the center Luminous Band strip (Genuine MB), and the tail lamps were ULO brand (OEM) that I found on eBay. They all matched each other perfectly! I have to say the quality of the center piece of the band was NOT great. It leaked and filled up with water almost immediately! :(
@@EnthusiastCarHangar Once you actually do it, you will see it! lol... Trust me! And, I can see it in the shot of the headlamps, with the lights turned on. Its not exactly "dust", but more of a "film". Kind of like what builds up on the inside of the windshield when you don't clean it for a long time.
I restore BMW and MB's in SoCal area. If you need any help with anything, let me know! I am currently restoring a 1992 600Sel, and I own a 1995 S320, etc
There is a lot that can beak and costs a lot to fix. Buying one that is in a great shape will cost good money. So I would not recommend it. A Town Car like the one I own is more reliable and the parts are cheap. Thanks for watching.

Does anyone know if the tail lamps and luminous band are still available from Mercedes-Benz?? Last I checked for my own W140, they were NLA!
Mercedes is one of the few automakers in the world that still produce OEM parts for their vehicles, regardless of the production year

Glad it’s fixed. They tend to let water in.
What happened with the 722.6 transmission? You fixed the problem?
The transmission has been serviced and looked after by a Mercedes specialist but still leaks a little bit of oil now and then.
