We played a top D1 Tennis player in a pickleball moneyball tournament. This was one of the most fun tournament matches I've had in a while because the points were so scrappy and so prolonged. I think all four players utilized their tennis background to a great extent in this matchup and I highlight exactly how that racket sports background translates into this pickleball match (no, it's NOT just about drives). QUICK NOTE on my paddle choice. I am currently going on a paddle quest. I signed with CRUSH Pickleball a year ago and you likely have seen a lot of content with me playing with the CRUSH Freestyle. I did NOT know much about paddles then, but I got so lucky to have found the best all court paddle released in 2023. Now that my contract has ended, I've decided to go through an extended "paddle quest" to educate myself on the paddle market and learn how all the different technologies affect play. I love my Spartus Olympus, but I'm still going to be testing out other paddles ranging from the Ronbus Ripple to Paddletek Bantam series to the Gearbox Ultimate and many more.
