I learned something recently in a TH-cam documentary on the song. It's actually a hilarious community misconception that this is a 1.6 song. Infact this is actually the condition zero deleted scenes music. Just that a popular cracked version of 1.6 back in the day commonly had this theme song... So we're all having false memories or memories on our pirated versions lol.

They added this theme in the pirated versions of Counter-Strike 1.6

pirated versions of 1.6 but if you have the mp3 file you can add it to steam/WON 1.6

This only plays in the CS: Condition Zero Deleted Scenes version, because the theme was made for that game. Bunch of pirated CS creators stole the theme and put it in their CS 1.6 packs.
