Thank you, Richard, for sharing this with us. This is the first time I've seen you give a full-length formal talk (before a large group, and as distinguished from your workshops), and was the best overall presentation of the headless way that I've seen to date. Your warmth, humor, and compassion combined beautifully with the sangha and setting to produce a perfect communication of the teaching. My no-face bows to your no-face. - Jim

This is an instant classic. A wonderful summary and explanation of The Headless Way.

Thanks Richard , really enjoyed that.
More joy in returning home than always having been home.
One can’t remember until one first forgets.
One must first be lost in order to be found.
So life’s adventure has to involve moments of suffering, forgetting our true Self, feeling lost.
Our return home is then all the more joyous.

Terrific experience, another tool to break the habit of duality and fear.

It doesn't get clearer than this.
Truly, the re-discovery of the obvious. This experience stays fresh, always immediate, always new, and always accessible, every time we look!

Hi Maureen. I met you on the hangouts a year or two ago. I'll be watching you tonight with Douglas's new videos Richard uploaded. Home to see you perhaps at another Zoom meeting. Matthew from Oregon.

Funny how some people will think this is some kind of crazy talk but there really is something powerful there.

A dear friend. Richard has embodied Douglas Harding's gift to humanity. This is no more clear that here as he shares the details of being with no head and the freedom of this as it relates to the wisdom teachings.

If I am what I see, what are then blind people? If I am what I hear, what are the deaf people? You propose interesting angle but wouldn't it be more correct to say I am the one who watches world projected on "a canvas" in the mind? And just for the sake of clarity mind is a function of a brain, not consciesness. Please respond, I am interested in your opinion.

The only value of this woo woo crap is to fprce you to imagine yourself from a other point of view, but non of this is a real way to reality, its all metaphorical and pretty simplistic

Actually you are constantly imagining yourself to be different from who you really are based on the way society has told you to look at yourself. This is about dropping all thoughts and preconceived notions and observing actually what is, which the intellect is not interested in. Maybe someone like UG Krishnamurti would be a better teacher for you he is 0% woo woo.

True, we always have an image in our mind about who we are.
