Iron judgement should be rated higher imo, it brought back the armor mechanic, flesh out some decks (insectoids/dwarves) and a lot of good cards that are still use today like Yghern and defenders Bonus: It also brought back daddy Radovid from Africa
I enjoy a lot of the card designs from Iron Judgment. I think having armour as the sets overarching theme and having each faction access and use armour differently was great. I love nearly all the Nilfgaard cards-Ramon, Affan, Ffion, Glynnis, Tortoise, Crossbowman-and that they are all still in some sense integral pieces in NG's arsenal.
From the best to the worst - Novigrad - Iron judgement - Master Mirror - Crimson curse - shit - Merchants of Ofir. Novigrad with new faction and game identity was just the best. Iron judgement with all of the armor, new cards and synergies, brought engines and many cards back alive. It was the best balanced DLC, which added a lot to the game, had awesome new cards and great theme. For the first time ever, the greediest engines, overkill Control, pointslam overload and any midrange deck were viable. There was nothing you couldn't play then Master Mirror was... Nothing special, but still good. There were not many good cards and archetypes, but it was enough to make the Gwent "a new game". Crimson curse brought a lot of new cards, leaders but nothing was really special. There were little new mechanics: just some new old style cards. And no balance... Yeah I remember Dettlaff being everywhere with other op control decks, making engines and midrange decks impossible to play. Merchants of Ofir was game breaking, misguided, glitched and had the worst background.
Excellent! I felt like a gwent history running before my eyes. So much emotions. Thanks! Yet, I still love the initial beta, with Letho-Regis-Ciri combo.
I’d probably rate Master Mirror a little bit higher as it had some pretty cool echo and evolving cards. The roll out was a bit uneven, but it did get balanced eventually.
Merchants of Offir has to be my favorite expansion in spite having the harmony meta.That's probably because it was around this time .fall last year, when I started to play gwent a bit more seriously and really got into learning the game.Played during Novigrad and Ion judgement but not very seriously and mostly meme decks.Didn't play Crimson Curse at all.As for the lastest expansion ...yeah ,I think the negatives outweigh the positives on this one unfortunately.The SK meta was horrible and it took them ages to somewhat balance it out .Also I dunno if it's fair to attribute this to the expansion(even tough it was during it's cycle) but the leader change patch was hit or miss with degenrate greed which spawned degenerate hyper control .Also Korathi Heatwave can burn in hell for all I care ,such a boring yet mandatory card.
I would out master mirror a bit higher, yes the balance was an issue at high level play, but once changes were made, the game is in a very cool place right now... The best it's ever been in fact.

@@stars-and-clouds there are a lot of rumours that it is coming out in December, since CD Projekt said that like 6 more trees in the reward book are coming before the end of the year, also the deckbuilder screenshot with new cards has been leaked but for some reason I couldn't find it even on reddit

Yeah honestly thats not gonna work cuz expansions are too big and lots of people have loads of different opinions like for an example Iron judgement imo would be A tier same with master mirror and merchants of offir would be even F tier scenarios suck mate
I think I generally liked all the expansions it's always fun to have something new in the game. But my least favorite one by far is the master mirror expansion😣 and that's mainly because of the way they made SK way stronger than other factions and at the same time making ST literally unplayable. Also the way they made the master mirror to be just a bad card is very annoying and i cannot think of any reason for all these things like i think it should be very obvious from the start of designing the card whether it would be bad or playable at least. Of course they fixed most things later and I'm not trying to say the game is bad I'm just sad as i feel that the can be much better and have incredible potential in terms of the variety of tactics and strategies that devs don't want in the game probably cuz it's gonna make the game harder for new players.

Master mirror expansion has a special place in my hearth because i hate harmony with a passion and they killed harmony when master mirror came out
