    Hey ! You rebranded !!! Would love to hear the back story as to what made you make the change (....how all you videos are then transferred over to the new account). Great instructional advice. Lots of trial and error. Makes me appreciate how much time and effort must go into making your videos. Have a Happy New Year !!!

    Thanks for the video, I always wonder what's the best way, to keep the cam on the start at your body and release it during flight, like you did in the gopro 1 million shot last year?
    Wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year with a lot of happy landings!

    • @AddictionHappiness
      @AddictionHappiness  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      For take off I usually hold it in one hand and then release it when flying or running 🔥 Might do video about it as well 🙏 Thanks for watching!! Thanks! Merry Christmas and happy new year to you too 🎅 Happy flying and happy landings! Can’t wait for all the projects coming up to YT in 2022 🔥😍

    Great video, but you need to attach the clip to a break-ring first. If the camera catches a tree, it might pull your wing and influence your flying (probably at a low altitude). With the ring attached, it will slide off way earlier.

  • @borango
    @borango 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Excellent summary! I want to update my ancient chase-cam setup. Now I am using a GoPro 11 Mini and I happen to fly wings with trim speed of 40 km/h (tandem and small solo wing). From your experience, would you recommend the larger or the smaller Skybeans model? Thanks for your input.

    Cool stuff man🤩 Still on my most wanted list😉 Everything in time right? Gopro and chasecam would be awesome to have. At least now i know how to use it allready👌

      Yeahh buddy!! 🙏 It’s really cool setup! Something epic in terms of filming coming very soon 🔥

  • @renaudurli
    @renaudurli 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Very good explanation, thanks! So to get the complete wing in the frame, you have to have a 360 cam? Or shall it be possible with Hero 9 and Max lens mod? I haven't found the correct line setting with my Chasecam yet then...

    • @AddictionHappiness
      @AddictionHappiness  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks!! Really Full wing with GoPro 9 and lens mod will be really hard unless in turns or with fast wing (at least for stable footage) but you can get most of the wing easily with Max lens mod 👌 just make sure you set you camera to as wide view as possible - 4:3 aspect ratio and follow instructions from this video for correct line length and you will get it right 🔥🙏 Have fun!! Tag me on Instagram if you post videos there 🔥🦅

    Ever had any problem starting and getting it entangled trough the lines ?
    Some make it longer and have it in their hand while starting - releasing it once airborne.

  • @raxis1000
    @raxis1000 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    I thougt that you have put the chase cam in the lines before the brakes, the C in my case. Why do you put in your brakes? Is it beter? Do you feel any type of disturbing movement or something having it attached to the brakes?!
    Pd I f***ing love your videos man!

    • @AddictionHappiness
      @AddictionHappiness  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You can also put in on Cs.. I was doing that at first and it’s also possible to get good footage from there 👌 When it’s attached to C there is chance chasecam line will rub into brake lines if your flying style is packed with lots of sharp turns and wingovers.. that’s also the reason I have it on “brakeline section” so it is floating free behind the wing 🔥
      Yeaaaa buddy happy to hear that!!

    What setting do you use on you Gopro? Linear, wide or super view?

  • @Docv400
    @Docv400 ปีที่แล้ว

    Can you not adjust the angle of the Go Pro?
    If you can, then the height it flies at (in relation to the Wing) shouldn't be that critical, should it?

  • @SuperPerfectStranger
    @SuperPerfectStranger 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Just a question, it is safe to connect it to brake like connection? I connect it to C-Line connecter.

    • @AddictionHappiness
      @AddictionHappiness  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      For me it worked very well so far. There is no extra tension or anything on brakes or training edge 🔥

    • @AddictionHappiness

      Hey buddy 👋 Usually GoPro Max but I like Insta360 too 😍 Just starting to use Insta360 more and more 🔥 I think it’s about personal preference. Both are very similar

    • @AddictionHappiness
      @AddictionHappiness  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That totally depends on your location and conditions… my personal best height with thermal power is to little over 4000m

    What about DJI Osmo Action? Any suggestions maybe?

    • @AddictionHappiness
      @AddictionHappiness  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Didn’t use that camera much but I would suggest to use similar settings.. main thing is to balance chasecam properly.. so when you hold the line it should be levelled straight 🔥🔥🔥

    Can somoene please answer me if could be possible to use this chasecam mount in wakeboarding?

    • @AddictionHappiness
      @AddictionHappiness  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not really sure.. if you would attach it somewhere high enough it might work.. but depends how stable... would be interesting to see results. Try to reach out directly to SkyBean eu

    Don’t attach to brake line - says Chasecam user manual 🙄 I always attached it to the next line above brakes

    • @AddictionHappiness
      @AddictionHappiness  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can also attach it to the line above - brake line section is what I do and so far it worked perfectly 🙏 I am not experiencing any extra pressure / force on brakes.. also I did crash it and ripped it off while proximity flying and it was not noticeable due to safety fuse and all that (previous video)🔥 If you put it to line above do everything about the length exactly the same 💪 Have fun and see yaaa in the next one 🦅
