Lost my Boxer Lenny 2 years ago. It was bitter sweet for me to hear that Boxer noises again🥲 I miss him still every day😔
My mom ended up having to put her Boxer-Blue Heeler mix down, earlier this year.
His name was Willie.
Sadly, he was diagnosed in mid-January 2024 with an invasive form of cancer the week prior to him being put to sleep.
Two weeks before he was diagnosed, the vet ended up finding a growth growing underneath the skin and muscle tissue of his chest. Willie had to go through surgery in order for the vets to safely remove the enlarged growth from his chest. When the growth was finally removed, they noticed the growth had already doubled in size over the course of a two week period and noted that the growth looked 'very angry', according to the vets who operated Willie's surgery.
They would later send the growth in for testing at KU Medical Center.
Two weeks later, we recieved word that lab results were in and the news we were all expecting to hear back from the vet ended up becoming a sad reality.😔
It was truly heart-breaking to learn the truth about what was to come, but we all decided it best to give him as much love as we could give him, before we said our final goodbyes to him.
Willie, unfortunately, passed away at the age of 8 years old on January 18th, 2024.
He will be missed deeply by his family and by those who loved him dearly.
RIP Willie!

I've had pitbulls, Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Chows, cocker spaniels and grew up around a poodle and I can honestly say my Boxer is the funnest, funniest and cutest out of all of them.

That's our peaches at 5:16. We actually lost her to cancer last month. I'm glad she'll forever bring happiness to everyone. Also my dad is in the background too we lost him almost three years ago also to cancer.

Boxers really are fantastic dogs. They are unlike any other dog. So loyal and make the best friends. As well as that they are hillarious. It's really hard to be unhappy if you share your life with a Boxer.
I never knew how talkative they could be until we shared our house with one and his owner for a little while. Such cuties.

They are clown's and alway's remain a child, no other breed compares I raised and trained them for many many Yr's ❤
My purebred Boxer is often mistaken for a pit bull. It is the large square head shape that fools people who do not easily recognize breeds.
Absolutely love boxers. When my boxer is super happy to see me, he walks towards me with his entire body bent into a u shape (head & backside facing me), the only breed I’ve ever known to do that. They are truly amazing characters!
Uh,I hate to break your bubble,but...........ALL DOGS DO THAT. LOL. Ours did that and she was a miniature German shepherd Collie mix. Looked like Lassie except had the black instead of the brown.
Yes! I call it their “donut shape” lol. One of my boxers (Lulu) always does this when she greets me. She makes her shape, wags her tail, and smiles. It’s like an invitation for me to rub her belly lol

My mils boxer does the u shape and wags his whole body with his tale lmfao 😂😆. He also likes to bite butts when he's excited. So you have to walk backwards facing him.

My friends stopped asking me about bruises on my arms and legs, they know that if i'm black and blue it's thanks to me playing with my two boxers.
Dragon you've seen stars,my boxer gave me 2 black eyes,l think my teachers thought my father was to blame..ok he did beat me often but the black eyes were delivered by Max,apart from school he was always by my side,currently sporting a rottweiller)...fuck they are a handful..but in a good way if that makes any sense?

Same here, I lost him on 26 March 2018, I came to know what love and attachment are and after he is gone forever I can't forgive myself. I cry most of the night all alone. Thinking about him. so I can understand why you are tearing up, so am I.

Had my buddy for just about 2yrs now, can confirm I’ve seen him do almost everything in this video. Love him to bits. Def considering adding another to my pack. The best part is is that he’s deathly afraid of my 7lb 10yr female cat. He’s 75lbs, and runs like he saw a ghost when she comes around

I lost my boxer recently. Watching these cuties brought back so many beautiful memories my boxer left me with. I miss him everyday and every moment
My Boxer is totally amazing ! Rescued at eight months. He and his sister went to two abusive homes , before I was lucky enough to find him. He really found me. I wanted his sister also as I found out there were two. The foster mom kept her. Which was upsetting as they were bonded . It took a few weeks for him to let my husband near me,. he was hurt in the past so he was protecting me. My other two Boxers gave him room so did my Weimaraner & Beagle. The others passed all in the last couple of years sadly. All five slept in bed with me wrapping their paws around each other. He loves other dogs , animals , kids everyone. What I especially love about him besides the kisses and cuddles , is he is still a guard dog naturally ! He will let family in without even barking, yet if someone he doesn't know knocks on the door, he is right there rigid until I say it's ok. Then he wags his tail ,and is ready for attention. Fantastic gentle loving dogs . Playful throughout life, yet calm in house. Just remember to have patience & be calm and loving. All animals respond best with kindness. They look fierce enough without people putting those horrible pronged collars on. They do require lots of attention when young. They are worth every second of it!

I had 4 boxers too, at one time, years ago. I could say, "Who wants a hug?" and they would all line up in a row and wait their turn for a hug. They KNEW they were each gonna get one, so there was never an issue who went first. So cool. THE best dogs ever!

My boxer loves little kids. He is so patient and gentle with them. Everytime a friend will bring a child over he will stay beside that kid the whole time.

I have a rottweiler boxer mix and its the boxer in him that makes him such a fun loving goofball, best dog ever! He whines and drools and snores, is always happy and protects me when we go hiking alone. Hes 15yrs old now dont know what I'm going to do when hes gone. Any dog mixed with boxer is a good dog.

I miss my friend Dagoberto, he was the first boxer I had, hes gone for almost a year, deep in my heart I know that we had a lot o fun together, I fed him, bathed him, I kissed him, huged him so much, never gonna forget how it felt to carry him in my arms, everytime I see boxer videos, I cant hold some tears falling down in my face, love him forever.

We adopted a senior boxer last year he’ll be ten this month. I grew up with dogs, but he's the first dog I've ever personally owned and the first boxer. He's the sweetest, silliest, snuggliest dog ever. I don't think I'll ever own any other breed, and my husband agrees. Such funny dogs, but oh gosh, their snoring.

3 tons and tons of kisses.
And you will end up with one hell of a lovable beast.

I've haven't yet loved anything as much as I love my boxer.
He's a *GIANT* pain in my ass at times, but I love just being with him.
We lost our other baby to osteosarcoma at the end of September. He was only 6, so definitely keep on top of their health! And because they're SO hyper, make sure you get your boy proper nutrition. I find mine needs lots of animal protein, veggies, fruit and nuts.
My mom used to put a little of the juice of whatever meat we were eating into his food and he got pancreatitis, so watch high fat foods, too.
Remember to keep him busy! A bored boxer is a destructive boxer. Lots of bones will keep his teeth clean, his bite strong and his brain occupied. I never give rawhide though.. only actual animal bones for my spoiled rotten boy!
And good luck! He's going to be the most frustrating and amazing dog you've ever had!
