Thank you for sharing this. I have just started my own handmade bag buisness. I use 100% scrap materials from local shops. It’s been hard to find a good sense of direction without the “idea head” exploding. Setting intentions is a fabulous idea. I can’t wait to see what all you come up with

Just found your channel and love your work/life ethic. Eons ago I was a quilt artist and fabric dyer and was big into crafting and textiles (right now my focus here on TH-cam has shifted somewhat 🙃). I’ve dabbled into sewing clothes again (sewed for others previously) but not very consistently anymore. Even tho I’m no longer a regular sewist, I look forward to seeing your growth, both here on the Tube and with your textile company. Your patterns and clothes are gorgeous, btw and I enjoy reading your blog.

HI! so funny. i discovered your chanel 2 days ago and really, really enjoyed all you videos ( yes, i watched all of them :)). I am a knitter first but, since last yaer, i decided to sew all my clothes and i only use linen because it's the best fabric ever. Also because i am lucky. As i live in Portugal, where there're a lot of textil factories, i can easily bought ´´ second hand´´ linen fabrics from the factories or what they don't use. I also appreciate your way of thinking, if it mean any sence, sorry for my bad english. Anyway, when i watched your videos, one of my first think was: it will be great if one day she will sale some patterns. And.....tadam! you just publish a very since one ( that i just bought by the way), the same day. Sometimes life is like this and i really enjoy this little magic moment and i am sur i will enjoy sewing this nice pattern. @@charliedarwintextiles For sure! 😊 You should also definitely consider promoting your pattern at the in-person market you’re selling at soon! With a purchase of your pattern, you could maybe offer to take measurements of each person’s height and upper body, and also advise them on which size would work best for them based on how they want to wear it (oversized, fitted, etc.) ☺️ and if you have a Tablet or laptop you’re going to bring, they could use it to buy your pattern online right then and there! 👍👍
