It is a big day for us here at Florida Drone Supply. We have our hands on the one and only, Autel Alpha. And when we say one and only, this is the only one currently in the United States.
Max Lee and Joe Scapperrotta from Autel were gracious enough to come out and give us the hands-on training and we talked them into leaving this one here with us so we can capture all the training, features, capabilities, and how to videos.
The Autel Alpha is an intelligent multi purpose industrial drone which has a place in so many different industries and applications.
A few of the highlights of what the Alpha has packed into it is:
A 560x Zoom hybrid camera and dual thermal cameras. We will expand on what the dual thermal means and looks like in one of our next videos, but it is nothing short of magic.
Laser Rangefinder up to 1.3 miles
Live AI object recognition on the controller and soon, you will have the ability to train the AI recognition to identify objects that pertain to your use case.
A 4K continuous optical zoom starlight night vision camera
40 minutes of flight time with the option to hot swap the batteries
IP55 protection level, meaning you can fly this in the rain, sleet, snow, wind, and more
The Alpha has the option to carry a 3 kilogram payload
720 degree omnidirectional obstacle avoidance including forward facing millimeter wave radar on board to see objects as small as a powerline in the darkness of night
A 7000 meter max service ceiling and a 20km image transmission range
Coming down the road will be a SDK which will allow third party payload integration.

On CANDRONE the alpha is 18.5k cad is it the true price or an error?

They had it priced incorrectly at the initial launch. If you check now, the price is exact as ours. Autel sets the pricing across all of their dealers so the MSRP will be the same anywhere you look. Thanks for watching!

I checked and the price is still the same, also do you have any information on how to train the AI recognition on the max 4t since I just ordered mine

May want to clear your cache on your browser, I am literally looking at their price right now :) Make sure you are looking at the price with the camera system, not without. At this time, the AI Training is only on the Alpha, but that may change in the future. If I get more information on that, I will be sure to let you know.

probably a very good drone but Autel didn’t send security approval to Transport canada
so probably can’t fly whit it in advance operations 👎😱
