Pecorama, August 2024

Pecorama opened in 1975, adjacent to the main offices of PECO model railway manufacturers. It boasts splendid pleasure gardens, a model railway exhibition, and an incredible 7.25" miniature railway.
I timed my visit to coincide with their annual Loco Week event, with visiting locomotives, freight services, and frequent double-heading on the Beer Heights Light Railway.
We begin our visit by taking a look around the model railway exhibition, before moving into the pleasure gardens and surrounding woodland to experience all that the event had to offer. With lots of locomotives in service, constant movement, as well as freight and non-passenger workings. There was so much to see and do!
