Heligoland has three runways with the longest being 480m & shortest being 258m. The 747 can take off from the longest one & land on the shortest one (at empty weight)

For the C10 it was simulating that you were having the winds broken by the mountain and therefore you have to adjust flaps and you have to adjust throttle and then you have to land it with basically a tail strike damn near
