- This Eye Examination Roleplay Therapy video is designed to suit the needs of ASMR and sensory individuals seeking to find peace, calm, comfort, and sensory input through the experience of a traditional eye exam. Consultation guided as entertainment only, I am not an optometrist. I have absolutely no experience, qualification or knowledge in eye care and cannot give advice on any problems.
I made this video for entertainment only. Not to be taken seriously. It's roleplaying of a simple eye examination.
This video was so much fun to make as I wanted to look the part and sound knowledgeable. I wore some specs and scribbled notes while gazing into the camera at your eyes pretending to know what I was jabbering on about. This video included some eye care research beforehand to make the idea seem plausible. I hope it was interesting to watch and listen to.

once in a while you stumble upon an absolute gem of an asmr upload, on a relatively unseen asmr channel. this video is one of those. your voice for these kind of medical roleplay videos is PERFECT. getting the balance between soft spoken and whispered is not only a favourite trigger personally, but in my view it's something which makes content a lot more authentic and effective. you definitely have a gift! PLEASE make more of these!

I noticed around the 2:00 mark, the light responsive test; Marcus actually keyframes the glare onto the flashlight. It's that type of dedication that makes his ASMR truly a higher quality than a lot of creators. Incredible, immersive, goose-bumping tingly goodness! Amazing work man!
Thanks for noticing the dedication and effort that goes into creating my ASMR videos. I am glad that you found the light responsive test immersive and goose-bumping tingly goodness. However, I must confess that you are indeed correct about the light used in the video. I had forgotten to place a sticky circle to the end of a pen to track later in editing, and unfortunately, I could not locate my pocket pen light during the filming. As a result, I used the pen to simulate a flashlight, and then keyframed the glare onto the pen during editing.
Nonetheless, I am glad that my work comes across as higher quality than a lot of creators, and I appreciate your support and encouragement.
The cutting in this video is absolutely sublime. It feels like I'm watching a dream or memory.

While some viewers have expressed concerns regarding the editing cuts, it is important to note that certain scenes had to be reshot due to unforeseeable and disruptive heavy construction work from a neighboring property undergoing an extensive basement conversion. I am pleased to report that this work has since been completed so its onward with the better recording!
@ASMRMarcus I actually like the cuts. They're not too jarring but it gives the videos kind of a surreal dreamy feeling which makes me feel sleepy 😅
Most ASMRS the artists end up looking the same, but you look like a actual doctor i would have as my GP :)

But you are one of the very few ASMRtists who managed to provide the sort of comfort and relaxation I can only describe as one of a kind. Your comment is a delight to read this afternoon. I really enjoyed filming this eye video and then editing it. With some crafty color grading, mask paths, edits here and there and one or two other experimental techniques it seemed to turn out okay in the final result. I am swerving slightly more to the roleplay of things. May produce more of this content - perhaps 70/30 as some people still like the tradition ASMR stuff... thanks again for your input.👍

I cant believe I’ve only just found you! I’m a long time asmr fan and specifically like soft spoken (not whisper) male voices, and I adore role plays. This literally ticked every box for me! I think I prefer these to the lady being seen (although those are still good) in your other vids, just a personal preference, helps me to feel it’s personal to me! Thank you for doing these they are great and clearly a lot of work have gone into them.
I must confess, I comprehend the sentiment that you would prefer to be the individual I address directly in my ASMR video roleplays, rather than having an assistant portray the patient. Rest assured, I have not forsaken the intimate connection of conversing with the viewer as the recipient of my gentle whispers, fumbling about and soothing gestures. But I am just saying to me, everything was perfect and I can only think of a few times someone triggered me better with the light aspect. Zach Asmr does really well and Dr. Dimitri. Anyways the whole point was it was very realistic which triggers me the most.
Something about watching someone focus on really any non-loud task is my biggest trigger and it doesn’t work if everything seems fake I need to be able to trick myself.

May I infer that you prefer doctor roleplay videos without the presence of an assistant such as Miss Wilde, and instead have only the viewer and myself portray the roles of the doctor and patient respectively? If that is the case, I would be more than happy to consider incorporating this concept again into future videos. While it would require some additional planning and preparation, it is not unattainable given our prior experience. Thank you for your feedback.

There is something in the cadence (especially in the videos with a patient) that makes me feel like the doctor may be up to something…like an intriguing back story 😂 Adds a depth to the character for me with a darker air. But I’m sure that’s just me being fanciful!
While it may seem like there could be a sinister ulterior motive behind my portrayal as a doctor, I assure you that it's just a lighthearted endeavour that has turned out quite well in this roleplay scenario.
